Walter is at the vet's. He is the first one on the schedule, so they should be starting soon (I hope). I can't wait for him to be done and get a call that he's okay. :nailbiting: Dental vines would definitely be appreciated.

I have to run to the shelter for my volunteer shift right after Mandarin's shot, so I don't have an AMPS yet. I suspect it's going to be high though. Since Walter wasn't allowed to eat after 1 am, Mandarin missed his usual +8/9 snack.

Alright, I better get going... I will keep everyone posted on my sweet boy.

Walter will do fine and be back with pearly whites!

Walter is back home and doing well! He once again had resorptive lesions and needed two extractions. He still has three of his canines and a couple of other teeth here and there, but they have had to pull the majority of teeth over the years. I just hope that he will recover quickly. I am also impressed that they tested his Glucose twice while he was at the vet's. He is already coming down rather quickly, but I just got him to eat a little snack.

I am so relieved that everything went well. Thank you for all of those vines and prayers!

Anesthesia can cause them to drop. I agree that it's great that they were monitoring his BG while he was there. Give you confidence in them, doesn't it?

Poor Walter. Did they send any pain meds home for him? Sending healing vines.

Glad he's safely home and hope that he heals fast. He sure has some nice numbers until recent for having a few resorption lesions. They can be very painful .

Nice one, Walter Nice to hear the good news, Christina
Murphy always has wierd bowel habits after anesthesia - usually constipation (maybe from the bupe)
I'm surprised people are surprised they checked his blood sugar during the procedure - how could they not?
