Don't know what happened yesterday, getting those high readings. It could have been that I was using the last of the test strips in the container. Opened a new one today. Don't know if that could have had an effect.

Re: 9/21 Martha AMPS 174

Hi guys .. I wouldn't think that the last strips in the container would be that far off, but I'm just guessing here .. at any rate, this is a very nice start to the day .. fingers crossed she cruises along nicely .. have a great weekend!

Re: 9/21 Martha AMPS 174

I wouldn't think the last strips should be any different, unless they are exposed to the air all the time or they've had excessive handling.
I dropped one container on the floor early on and they did just fine, hairy floor and all.
can't guarantee you won't find a cat hair here  or a dog hair  or dirt  .

And a nice blue start, hopefully you'll get a little sliding action today.

Re: 9/21 Martha AMPS 174

Oops, I posted this in yesterday's condo:

No, that is a perfectly safe number. Great job! Normal range for cats is 50-120, so that's the best range for them. Below 200 is good too, since that is about the renal threshold. If you can add "+6 98" to the very first post that you made this morning, it will show up on the board and we can easily see what's happening with Martha.

ETA: Be sure to check out the sticky SHOOTING & HANDLING LOW NUMBERS. We re-read this about a billion times before it started to make sense.

Re: 9/21 Martha +6 98

Hosanna, I would keep the AMPS reading to give the 98 some context. So the subject line would be
9/21 Martha AMPS 174;+6 98

That is just about an ideal cycle.
