Morning ~O) ~O) Not too bad of an AMPS with Maggie's pickey eating yesterday and a couple vomits. I fed her some FF Turkey & Giblets after the 100 bg yesterday, as I had to leave and just to get her to eat something she liked. It usually causes a spike but didn't spike too much this time seeing the AMPS, so she may have dropped more had I not fed her the FF T&G, but better to be cautious. Only one vomit this morning, and it looked more like a small hairball.

Thanks Rusty for bringing some chicken soup when you picked me up for the dental parties; it did the trick and I'm feeling better, Mags

Maggie isn't looking bad this morning considering she got the good stuff yesterday. It must be a hairball. She'll get it, one way or another. :lol:

What a nice start for Maggie today! I don't blame you either for being cautious. At least then you know she is safe. I am glad that she is feeling better today - no pukus! Maybe it was just the hair ball.

Hi, please bear with me with two meters, as I'm doing a little experiment to show myself and Anne & Zener that with a very low bg on the AT, there is not that large a variance with a low # on the human meter; for example, 70 or below. We both tend to freak with lows on the ATrak, thinking there is a 30 point variance, but not always that 30 point variance. (Pat & Shadow's not here to tease me with the two meters, so I'm safe, he, he!)

Hi Michelle, you're so welcome. I think we all get a little nervous any time our kitties go under anesthesia, but so glad they went thru with flying colors and no bad side effects from the drugs. I did get a short walk in this morning.

Hi Devon, yes, let's hope it's the end of that hairball. she feasted on SK super supper this morning.

Well, there goes my experiment. Maggie has already reached her Nadir and is now going up, so I won't have an opportunity to test on the two meters with a low bg. Now I guess I have permission to leave. Will leave her some good fuds.

Hi Patty & Champ. Thanks for visiting us. I went to Walmart to buy some Special Kitty Super Supper since Maggie has decided she now loves this brand. Unfortunately, they were all out of it, so I'll try another Walmart tomorrow. I'm kind of glad she's no longer interested in FF Seafood Feast, as it was too much fish.

Your numbers experiment was interesting. I only did a few side-by-side experiments with my One Touch and my Relion when I made the switch last week, and the Relion always came in a bit lower then, too...

Thanks Celi, she still has a ways to go. I know, I'm so glad pat was on vacation with me and my two meters.

Yes, I stopped comparing when I saw Maggie was going back up after the 90. I wanted to see the variance between the two meters with a low alphaTrak number, 70 or below.

I'm proud of Maggie today with the nice cycle. I didn't even get all the drops in tonight, as I noticed when I withdrew, there was on tiny drop on the syringe. Still a good number for the +3. Nice job, Maggie! I think the reason her Amps is a bit on the high side is that she free feeds overnight. If she gets low, she will self feed herself.

Me, I panic if I dont have a full container of strips, I totally panic & off I go on line to get 4 more!! Yep, buy them in 4's so I dont run out--neurotic you say, YES I AM :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Maggie looks very nice in blue tonite--Hope tomorrow is greener--Hugs & lub from us!! Goin Ni Ni! :mrgreen:
