9/21 LT AMPS 127 +2 165 +3 138 +6.5 124 PMPS 124 +2 110

I would be inclined to try the drop dose again to try to get some of those blues down a bit. With the pet meter you are bound to see more blues than you would with a human meter and we don't have exact target numbers for pet meters. From my experience doing dual testing with human and pet meter through those final days of insulin, I would aim for no blue readings above 120 to 125 and definitely more green in the mix.

Thanks. I'm wondering if those beginning lower numbers were from the depot?

:bighug:I'm sorry , Suzanne :bighug: I agree with Carla , to try to keep from getting discouraged . Elmo's road to remission was full of two steps forward and one back so I know how you are feeling . It seems it's sooo close then you have a minor set back . You and LT are doing so well and blessed at how quickly he has progressed under you snd DH care :bighug: Keep on keeping on...LT is headed for remission :):bighug:❤️

Thanks for everyone's encouraging comments. I do want a strong remission for LT and just have to relocate my big girl patience panties :D. However, I was hoping the emotional rollercoaster had come to a halt at the station. One would think with a type 1 dog in the family I would know better;).

Suzanne, don't beat yourself up! LT is doing just fine...you'll never know if he'll tolerate a needle juice amount until you give it a try...so he's just saying he's still needing a little more juice to keep that pancreas healing...he'll get right back to business...he's very close and its still very early in the game for you both.

Yep, put on those patience pants...I've gone through many pair of them...you've got to be just getting the creases out of yours, huh?

Hang in there :)
