9/21 Eleanor AMPS 340 (home from vet- ear infection) +6 161

[Julie and Eleanor (GA)]

Eleanor does indeed have an ear infection - bacteria AND yeast. I'm praying her med doesn't skyrocket her bg. I won't know how to handle that and I am very ill with a kidney infection that isn't clearing up - meds making me so sick and REALLY affecting my already putrid eye sight. It is so scary being responsible for my little Eleanor - especially with her sick too. I just sat down and cried when we got home from the vet. Not that THAT did a bit of good!

So sorry that both you & Eleanor are not feeling well, Julie. Did your vet clean Eleanor's ear? If there is an infection, it will drive up her bg but dont worry, as it clears the bg will come down. Follow the vet's prescription & I am sure Eleanor will be fine. Ear infection canbe easily healed with cleaning & med.
