Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty's number is in a better range this morning, so here's hoping we can finally get him back on track. (But the trip to NYC is tomorrow, and that will throw him off whatever happens today). Cold here last night: in the mid-30s. Rusty snuggled with his beans. We had a good test this morning, good breakfast, pretty good shot (1/2 drop left in the syringe). Rusty wanted to schmooze after breakfast, so I sat with him wrapped in a blanket for 1/2 hour (we will not put the heat on in September!).

Today will be a day of getting ready for the trip. bbl,

Hi Kitties, I'm going to the city tomorrow and hope that many of you will join me there for our usual city pursuits: hot dogs and tourist-watching in Central Park, visit Patience and Fortitude (the NY Public Library lions), visit the South St. market, fish for eels in the East River, visit the Museums, ride on the Staten Island Ferry, etc. See you there on Saturday.

Morning Ella - YAY! So nice to see Rusty in more rusty like numbers. All a good thing. I hope he travels well to NYC, maybe this time the numbers will be good. Right Rusty? Sure you can!

And the 30's???? BRRRRR!!!!! We don't have that cold yet, but do hear you on the no heat on in September....

Good luck with the trip prep today. Watch out for the kitties today. I hear there is a porch invasion planned.... :lol: :lol:

Definitely moving in the right direction, Rusty. Maybe the lagoon later? I am starting to think about turning on the heat here but not quite yet.

Nice blue start for Rusty and vines for a good trip to NYC tomorrow for Rusty and no car sickness. Wow, amazing with the cold, and we are still in the mdst of summer. Ella, the possum and Mags just kind of stared at each other, cute, no playing dead! Have a nice day, and Maggie is looking forward to the trip to NYC with all the kitties.

I hear you on the heat. I try not to turn it on until November but it always depends on the weather.
I still have the windows cracked which seems to keep the house at around 65.
But our thermostat is always set on 64 when we do turn it on.

My daughter was whining at me because she was cold but she also walks around barefoot. :roll:
too bad, so sad. go put on socks.

Looks like Rusty could have some nice blues and a green or two today.

That is just a little too cold for me this early. Brrr. We had 52 today and I was freezing. To think we lived in South Dakota and Iowa for years.

Nice start for Rusty today. Much better big guy. Now don't freak out with the trip tomorrow. Tarragon was mumbling something about a big party tomorrow in NYC. Feel free to send him on home if he gets in the way. Have a great day Ella!

Heading in the right direction, Laird Rusty, but not quite back where you belong yet. Paws crossed and good travel vines for the trip. i always wonder how Tess would do on a longer trip, totally stressed the entire time away is my best guess. Rusty is such a good traveler, despite the occasional bout of car sickness.

Mid 30s are our winter lows! :? @-) I think Rusty had the right idea about snuggling up in a blanket w/ you.

Hi again,

Rusty is back at the lagoon, at least for now! Today was a good day of numbers for him. And he had a good day with lots of outdoor time. He enjoyed his lunch of Wellness Chicken and his dinner of Wellness Turkey. And now he is napping on the couch, waiting for us to come down to watch "Person of Interest". No doubt he is anticipating his FF T&G, which he gets as a bedtime snack/treat every night. This is his absolute favorite food and I like to give him a little every day, even on days when I don't need to feed a low (it tends to raise his bg; I don't know why).

Off to visit a few condos. I've been busy all day getting things ready for the city.

Nice blues for Rusty today. Hope he doesn't get car sick tomorrow.

Seems like green has been the colour of choice for many of our kitties lately. Surf it out safely Rusty. I hope you all have a fun adventure in the city:)
 
The stay at the lagoon was short-lived! I don't understand why Rusty should bounce from those high greens. I must not have his dose correct yet. His numbers in general are not Rusty-like.

I am suspecting canbe the change in weather & temp that caused all those colorful bg on LL. Well, at least Rust is in the blue...Surf Rusty!
