Last night, we had our first instance where a sitter had trouble getting blood from Moonie’s ear poke. Thankfully Wendy gave great advice that calmed me down, and the sitter was eventually able to get a reading. I also feel better knowing that we’ve picked a conservative enough dose that a skipped test here or there will be ok.

Yesterday I thought of Moonie a lot during our tours. One of our last stops was the Irish Whiskey Museum, where we got to try Poitin, a traditional Irish “moonshine” (Moonie’s government name!). Poitin smelled really strongly like potato, and that made me think of her even more because Moonie loves starches and potato water in particular. When we were growing our potato slips, she would always sneak in to drink the water that the potato was submerged in. And then the Poitin tasted so sweet, just like Moonie.

I photoshopped Moonie into our photos from the Powerscourt garden and waterfall yesterday. She would have loved it, running around gnawing on all the expensive plants she’s not supposed to be destroying :)

Love your photos. Moonie is with you in spirit on your trip 🐈‍⬛😻

Hope she’s being good at home and will get used to the helpers testing and feeding her.
Be good Moonie and safe surfing 🏄‍♀️ 🌊💞
Thank you Staci! 💕 She’s been much better for the sitters so far than she is for us normally so fingers crossed 🐾🤞🐈‍⬛

Absolutely gorgeous! Moonie looks like a little black bear drinking from the water fall 💜
Glad to hear that you've been able to de-stress some and hope you're still enjoying the trip, even if you've got Moonie on your mind 🤗 Nice that she's staying in yellow & blues while you're away as one less thing to worry about!

Thanks Sara! Moonie has been a very good girl letting sitters poke her little ears and staying flat. Hopefully she’ll stay this good when we return and I try to get her back into the greens :)

With the face Charlotte was making, I think you'll need all the bribes you can get 😂
What you got planned for today?? Anything exciting??? 😁 What's the one thing you're most excited to do in Ireland?
Charlotte isn’t even that food motivated so I don’t even know how we’re going to get back in her good graces 🤣

Today is a big travel day! We met up with Parker’s family and we’re going from Dublin to Kinsale which is a 4 hour drive. So far it’s been mostly spent in the van looking at the scenery. I’m excited to explore Kinsale and the surrounding area though! And the AirBnB is supposed to have kitties!

I don’t know if I have that one thing! So far I’ve enjoyed pretty much everything. Maybe the gardens because we’ve been really trying to get into cultivating our backyard. And I think in a way, it’s good to have a change of scenery and truly unplug from your everyday life so that you can go back with a slightly new perspective.

Ooh! My mom and I visited the fort at Kinsale. It was cool! Also the lighthouse near there.
I hope you continue to have a good time!
