Well I increased last night, but still not using the caliper for last nights dose and this mornings. The syringe this morning was wonky again, didnt push all the way up so who knows what dose I gave her. I set up the caliper to start using again tonight. After a few experiments with getting rid of bubbles I managed to pull some doses up without them. I am wasting insulin each time tho as I have to pull up insulin, get rid of as many bubbles as I can then squirt that out and pull up some more. That seems to clear the bubble out of the base of the chamber going up to the needle. What a pain tho. I have some new syringes coming but they are on Amazon and earliest I could start getting them was Sept 13. And theres no telling if those will be any better. I suppose I could try and find those donated ones as they didnt seem too bad. But I hated the needle length. They were super long.
No idea what the increase is doing. It seemed to take hold early this morning then Poof! She back on the ๐Ÿš€

Well I was able to find the donated syringes (EliMedical) with the shorter needles. They are arriving Sept 9, so a bit earlier than the other ones I ordered. We'll see which ones work best. Im about to throw these existing syringes on the ground and beat them with a hammer!!๐Ÿ’‰๐Ÿ’‰๐Ÿ’‰ ๐Ÿ”จ๐Ÿ”จ๐Ÿ”จ
I used the caliper tonight, not before id pulled up insulin about 5 times and squirted it out. Where it ended up on the syringe using the caliper was about 0.75, but I calibrated it for .5, so hopefully its right. I dont know why Im having so many issues. And her BG is just soaring ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿš€๐Ÿš€๐Ÿš€๐ŸŒ™โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒ
