Lots of sweet little Gracie purrs this morning. Despite yesterday's stinkus pinkus and ick day, thanks in part to the vetty visit, she was playful and happy. She was so comfy during nap time yesterday in the built-in cupboards in our closet....she makes a little pillow out of my swimsuits and rests her head on them. I got a photo...see below. She's so adorable!! All of her organs/systems tested a lovely 10 yesterday except her liver and we just started the denamarin a couple weeks ago. Vet thinks it might be the topical cyclosporine but every reference to topical cyclosporine on the internet (and from what the vet opthamalogist says her research shows), indicates there are no systemic side effects from the topical as there are from the oral. We'll recheck bloodwork next visit in two months and see if the denamarin has helped. Still pondering a switch to lev. ETA: the white thing in the foreground in the pic is a towel I put up there for Gracie to lay on....she got her bonito flakes on it :lol: :lol:
Up early today (6) to feed all the civvies as the electrician came at 7 to install a special switch for the outdoor fans. Then I did Gracie's routine and then painted the stucco repair area around the new gate. They installed the gate but wouldn't repair the stucco where they took the old gate down (but we knew that upfront). Stucco repair was last Tues and I wanted to paint the patches while it was cool out this morning. Finished that up by about 10 or so but then had to help DS with arrangements (flight and car) to fly to Dallas tomorrow to take DM to some docs, etc. Finally breffis and coffee at 11:30
and then Gracie decided to turn green today. What happened to all my spare semi-retirement time? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
