AMPS 191............Cant tell if he is hitting his nadir late or just being wonky. I have a cookout/family get together today at my Mom's. The family is getting together before my Mom goes into surgery next Monday for bladder surgery. I am going to have the Dh drive home at +6 to check Doogle unless he looks pretty good at +4. We should be home by +8. Going to be long day.

I'd think about an early test. It looks like Doogle's numbers were dropping at AMPS.

Do you have insomnia? I can't believe how many tests you're getting overnight!! It's impressive but I'm concerned that you're not getting enough sleep.

LOL......the DH does the testing in the middle of the night...he is the one with insomnia....LOL. He may not be perfect but at least he is great about testing. I am going to get a +2 and a +4 then I will be leaving. His AMPS are weird lately, almost like he is hitting nadir late. I am going to up it tonight to a f2.75. Its just been a long week and weekend, plus the screw up Friday messed things up. Now that school has started, I will be teaching at least 3 days a week so I will be home on Mondays and Fridays (hopefully). But at least he seems to be doing better. But I think the f2.75 will hit it just right.

PMPS 313..........Was up a little tonight due to giving Doogle a little bit of HC before we left this afternoon. Doogle was headed down at +4 (he was 123) so I gave him a half a can of HC since we were going to be gone till later tonight. The DH stayed behind an hour to make sure he was headed up before he left (he did go up some). Got home around 8:30 pm and tested Doogle and he was only 302 (which is better than I thought it would be). So upped his dose slightly to a f2.75 tonight. So maybe this will bring up some greens. I hated to give him the HC but I was afraid he would go down to far and me not be here. Today was a good day though. Cooked out for my Mom and my brothers, sister, her 2 kids, my 2 kids, my 2 grandkids, husbands and a couple of girlfriends were all there. We sat around and laughed, talked and watched the grandkids play till they dropped. It was nice just to get together and it not be like Thanksgiving or something. Now on to next Monday and my Mom's surgery. I am trying not to think about it and what could happen. She is on oxygen 24/7, she has lungs problems (she is on lasik) and heart problems and she is 74. So this is a bit scary for all of us, but today we all forgot about the worries and enjoyed our family. Now I am tired...........LOL

Still up a little from eating I think. But pretty sure he will come down soon. Got storms that moved in (left overs from Hurricane Issac) and all the crew is a little upset. They are all hiding or listening intensely to the noise outside. Will get a check in a couple of hours.
