Atlas seems to have cleared his kiblble raid last night in a big hurry....kinda wow in fact how fast that happened on 0.5u? I am happy to see a very low blue number this morning though. Hopefully he didn't set himself back into LTS?

Gary last night got kisses from Atlas. Then Attie gave him a bop on the head! :lol: Not sure what that was about, but Gary later was complaining because Attie had the box on the catio and wouldn't share. Our days with Gary are a constant rotation. Some days he gets to hangout by himself and have the house...other days he get secluded to his bedroom. We try to rotate them on my busy days, so nobody is left for hours in a bedroom. You would think with a familyroom, living room, and catio they could figure out who owns what territory. MudCat is often the one stuck on the island on the catio. Poor girl...guess thats her lesson for being such a flirt last winter. You don't flirt with the bad boys.

I am thinking maybe today of heading over to the Garden Center and getting some Hardy Mums for the backyard. Several beds are starting to look a little end of season and a splash of color will make things brighten up a bit. Need to trim up the hedges in the front yard and clear away or reposition the pots on the front steps, tidy up the front beds and trim back the wild red rose, cut some wild grown catnip for drying and get all this done before noon. Go walk the dog, I only have one today! Then come home and clean house and set up autumn throughout. Well....that's the plan anyway... :lol: We'll have to see if Attie gives his approval this morning.


Woot!!! Today's set-up and cleaning day! Gary says he's headed to the river to catch some fishes. MudCat has been inspecting the Big guest lodge and says we might need to prep the ole mini-lodge Gary used last winter. So she is all talkin' about fumigatin' and stuff, and I'm cleariing the camp fire zone for Rusty and crew...one never knows what fishes Gary might come back with? Hey did you hear the bean...catnip harvest time today? Maybe I can convince her to let us have a roll in it before she cuts it? You all will have a catnip package to take home I bets. See you all real soon. I sure hope Tarragonz can come. There's nothing like fresh air, fresh fish, fresh catnip, and good friends to helps one feelz better. If not we canz take him a care package! I so glad he's feelin betterz.~~Attie

Oh, that catnip harvest picture looks real inviting to a kitty. The other pictures are nice too. I'm jealous that you live in such a nice place, but I like where I live too.
It sounds like you should have a busy morning. J.D. wants me to ask "What day is The Party?" and Ginger is asking if she can come, too, if J.D. promises to watch over her.

House cleaning about to commence....

Catio ready for T ! Lots of blankies, pillows, and perches.
Both lodges ready for guests.
Campfire wood collected and stacked.
Crayfishes caught and swimming in bucket.
Fresh water river muscles on ice in cooler...
Gary still hasn't caught a thing....I'z thinks he'z gonna needz some helps.
J.D. and Ginger should be here soon to hunt them chipmunks...
MudCat's makin' up her special catnip pesto too.

Attie continues to surf along at and hold those low numbers for me. Hard to believe we have finally broken the 1.0u mark!!! I was thinking it was Sept. 1 of last year we started on Lantus compliments of DCIN. What a journey Attie has had...inspiration in orange with 4 paws and a tail. :lol:

Hows to make crayfishes....

30 crayfish
3 qts of water
5 tablespoons of salt
dill with heads.(Optional unless you're a Scandihoovian.)


"It is very important that every crayfish be alive before boiling. Wash thoroughly in cold water. Boil water, salt and dill 2-3 minutes, remove dill, then plunge crayfish into water. Cover and after boiling resumes,cook 6-7 minutes. Add more dill, cool in 'pot liquor' and keep in refrigerator before serving. Arrange on platter. Garnish with heads of dill."

Da' bean grew dill just special for the crayfishes! If you never had crayfishes...itz like eating minnnie lobsters! ~~Attie

Oh...Ps...did you knowz crayfishes can't lives in polluted water? Dat meanz the Rocky River is very clean!

Oh that Attie is looking superb. He waved goodbye to Tess, Gracie, and Mannie as he graduated from LTS.

Attie!! We're having crayfishes!!! Tobes is on the way to help with the catnip patch harvesting!!! Mamabean says I have to stay home a little longer until my numbers is safe!!! She said unless you have some karo??? I'm making very special drinks for the weekend...Chery Bombs, Cranberry Kiss, Pomegranate margaritinis, and Americanos!! How does that sound???!!

Hummmm...that's pretty flat there Attie-Can. And I'm pretty tired as it is about time to tuck Gary into bed and to call it a day around here.

Nite, nite all....we're gonna have so much funz tomorrow....just fishes, crayfish, and chipmunks all dancing in my head. The catio is full of catnip...I hope Tarragon likes it. Gracie those cattails sound perfect for drinks....I so happy my friendz are coming for the last summer weekendz...
