A few days ago I noticed Henry scratching some little pimple like bumps above his right eye. He has a few at the base of his left ear too. They looked red and irritated from scratching so I made a vet apt. and took him in today. No fungus showed up with the blacklight. She thinks its probably an allergic reaction to something (I hope its not fancy feast or we're in trouble!) She did a culture to send off to make sure its not MRSA or some other infection.
I have to pick up Cipro to start him on again later and antibiotic ointment to apply until culture comes back. He may have to be put on Benadryl later to keep him from scratching after we find out whats causing it. Hes very glad to be home.
