Tough sometimes getting old :blackeye:... Sadly, other issues are bringing her down.

Nelli BG numbers are good; well regulated.
Constipation getting better. Working hard on this one, I am.
Told her several times yesterday... NO POOP, NO BUPE; Poopies= Buppies :cat:
Well HAH! Nelli threw me a little poop yesterday :cat:

I can see the SS. On Sunday the two 76 numbers look blue instead of green. I hope Nelli has a good day. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug:
 
What have you been doing for the constipation? Ollie is heading for problems if I don't figure something new out. Now it's possible anal glands added into the mix.

What I am doing which I am hope hope hopeful will work is I've taken her off all chemical drugs for constipation and am slowly introducing pumpkin back in and beet pulp fiber. The beet pulp fiber was quite a process to locate... Ended up with a huge, I mean huge bag of it at feed store. It's mixed in with equinox hay?!? I

I had been giving her Miralax every day then when a bout of constipation came along I started giving her lactulose :nailbiting:. I don't want Nelly to be on a drug to regulate her for rest of her life! The Miralax, so I have learned should not be given long-term. The lack to lows, omg was very powerful. If Olive doesn't like the pumpkin hang in there with it... An eighth of a teaspoon is ideal but to get Nelli used to it I literally start out with a 16th or less then creep up to an eighth :).

Olive eats the pumpkin was getting 1/2 tsp a day with miralax. It stopped working. Vet says to add fiber so giving psyllium husk now and continue miralax. She did nothing yesterday nor yet today.

Psyllium needs a lot of water to work well ! It absorbs fluid so if she doesn't have enough water, it could lead to constipation...!
I don't know how you give it but maybe sprinkle a little on her food and add water !! Start slowly and increase slowly....
