Today looks to be drop like a rock day. :shock: Appy was down a little, so we added a tiny sliver of appy stimulant and Zener is eating much better now, thank goodness! He seems to be a little sore in his nether regions from the anal expression yesterday, poor guy. He is a trooper though as always, and managed to make his backyard rounds. The noisy vacuum cleaner woman comes today so kitters will spend the afternoon hiding out under beds. @-)

@Melanie & Racci - thanks for the info on the Enzadent toothpaste. How wonderful it has worked so well for your kitters and no dental ever! Wow! :-D

We have not yet tried the toothbrushing or qtipping or finger swabbing or anything really in the big guy's mouth. But it looks like we can no longer go without, unless we want another dental. :cry: And now thanks to everyone in LL, we have several options to try. We'll keep everyone posted how it goes.

Ah the infamous Zener slide. Surf those greens big guy. Sorry about he iffy appy. Hopefully you caught it early and it won't turn into anything. I wish I could hide out under the bed while someone vacuums my house. :lol: Have a great day Anne & Liz!!

Hi Anne and Liz and wow with the Zener slide. I'll have to go back and read yesterday's condo on the Biotene and see what you decided. I use it for myself, not the paste, but I have a spray that is sugar free and Saccharin free. It helps with a dry mouth problem I have (Sjogrens), so that was interesting to hear your Vet recommended it for Zener. I don't think Maggie can have any dentals either. I've always used C.E.T products for Maggie. I guess you heard Maggie left a prezzie for the Inspector Poo report. :-D Have a nice day. Zener sure is moving along there! :mrgreen:

Nice greens for Zener. Hope he continues to surf green for you today. Good luck with the toothbrushing. My vet wants me to try that with Furball. I'm not sure she'll let me.

Yes, we had a rainbow slide, in true Zener fashion, and then a nice blue PMPS.

@Ann & Maggie - we got the Biotene from the vet but are going to start with just a wet QTip and the CET rinse, when we get it. We have the CET poultry toothpaste and the Biotene if we need to go that route. Glad to know that Maggie was on the move! :razz:

@carla - nice greens with a slight rise into blues for PMPS, we like that! I'll let you know how tooth care goes with the mighty Z. :cool:

Hope Zener decided toothbrushing is okay.

If I ever get another kitten, gonna teach it from the start.
It's so difficult to get them to cooperate later.... @-)
