It took Kris 9 tries to get this reading. She is having a hard time getting enough blood. I told her to take a break for the pm cycle because Owen seems pretty flat today. I will go over there and see if I can help her test tomorrow. I know how frustrating it can be!

Is she warming the ear first and “milking” it towards the tip?
What size lancets does she have? Size 26 or 28 ae best for new members.

I am going to go over there tomorrow and see if I can figure it out. I gave her a sock of rice to warm
Owens ears and showed her how to massage. I will double check the lancets. I’m wondering if it is the meter? I really don’t want her to get frustrated!

If she’s not getting enough blood it could be the size of the lancet or the fact her meter needs a larger drop of blood than some other meters.
