Yellow was the color of the day yesterday, with a tease into the blues. I'm not too sure what is up with Mannie: greens are more or less elusive.. hmmm... Well tomorrow is dental day, and they will repeat a urinalysis from a couple of weeks ago that was questionable. so... in the mean time we hope for a good cycle today, some blues and greens. With a yellow start today it looks like I can go , that maybe I have been given that permission slip. I will check him again at +2 to make sure he hasn't decided to clear those yellows from yesterday.

All is well in MannieLand. :-D The kitty choir, aka my alarm system, made sure I got up, though they were gentle. No claws!, always a plus. :cool: Such kind and civil kitties this morning - no whacking, everyone one was on their best behavior, all waited patiently for their fuds. :shock: I kinda missed the three ring circus that I usually get. :lol: :lol: We had a great test feed shoot, lots of purrs. Breffis was inhaled, clean late club status remains intact. All three are in nap mode. Semi-normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! It looks like hiking is on my agenda today - Mannie is high yellow at +1, so.... permission slip granted I think. :-D

Kitties!! Camp Stu today!! Rusty's beans are out in their canoes.... and Rusty is all alone. So off we go - I gots the bus all packed, lots of hot toddys and snacks and stuff. Fleece too! I can't wait to just hang out with my friends. See you guys soon - the bus is ready to roll! ~~ Mannie

Aww Mannie, whatcha doin up there! I know he will come down, Michelle, and he gave you a permission slip to go hiking. Good luck with the dental tomorrow. I don't know if this is on the mark or correct, but I wonder if it's better if they're a little on the high side rather than low when getting a dental, as the anesthesia eats up the glucose. I'm thinking back on the scare Mags gave me when she dropped so fast after returning home, but she had also been given a lot of fluids. Have a great hike, and we look forward to pics.

Ok Mannie, picks me up on the KTSS, and thanks for bringing extra fleece. I can't wait to visit Camp Stu today, Maggie

Ok Mannie....it's ok to surf here today while your bean is gone. But then once you get the dental.....back into green you go!!!

His dental is Tuesday? So is Gus's and Tobey's....yes...two in one day. I must be crazy. It was the only day the anesthesiologist had two appts open....

Hi all! Looks like Mannie decided to visit the stratosphere today, juts like his bean. 344 at PMPS. I really do hate pink....

I took the day today to go hiking - up in the north cascades, one of the premier hiking areas in our state. Alpine! and wayyyyyyyyyyy upppppppppppp thereeeeeeeeeeeee at 6000 feet. :-D It was just gorgeous.... but I gotta tell you my tale... you gotta love it! I drive 2.5 hours to get to this hike, and 10 miles from the trailhead the cloud cover starts getting a little dense... get to the trailhead and one cannot see 100 yards in front of you. so there I am, knowing that the most awesome views in this state are behind thick gray stuff... but I went anyways. Never say never, and never say die: 2 hours later I reach cascade pass, and low and behold, the clouds parted, the sun shone, the skies were blue, the temps was warm, the views were to die for.... Downright kicka$$! What a great day, what a great hike. :-D

Hi Angela - I wish I knew.... not too sure what Mannie is up to, but I hope he finds the lower floors soon. :-D

Hi Ann, and Miss Tess - ugh on the pink!!! what in the world... maybe they have found the teeter totter.... and I know - it was well hidden. Sneaky little kitties may have found it!

HI Ann , and Miss Maggie - thanks on the dental. It has to go better than the last one. :-D you could be right... i know we had an issue with that too on his last one. I remember what you went through with Maggie. and thanks - hike was great, and I hope to have photos for Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Melissa - yep - got me permission slip, though I wish he hadn't gone pink just so I could be gone - silly boy! :lol: and yes - there are worse things - he'll come down when he is ready. he always does.

H Marje - i so hope so on the greens after his dental. Just as long as it goes smoother than his last one... Elsa is getting one too. so yeah, crazy me is doing two of them at the same time. nutsville! and thanks - hike was great!

I've missed so much these last few days, i've missed you and the Manster! Dental day tomorrow?!?! I hope you don't have to get any toofies pulled Mannie and don't forget to ask for the good drugs when you're all finished! I just tentatively scheduled Leo's dental for Oct 11th, hopefully the vet clinic will have the xray machine up and running by then. I'll be hoping for a smooth dental and will be thinking about you 2 tonight and tomorrow. Good luck!!!! Remember Mannie, no peeing on the floor again!

Sounds like you had an awesome hike today and good to hear Mannie gave you permission to leave today ;-)

Yo Mannie, thanks for bringing the gang to visit me at Camp Stu today. We sure did have a good time. The water was a little cold, but the hot toddys after swimming were terrific. Hey man, I hear that you're going to have a dental tomorrow. Good luck with it. I'm going to pick some fine dental vines and send them to you first thing. My dental went well, and I know yours will too.
KTSS will be along afterwards with some soothing soup.

Hi Michelle, Your hike in the Cascades sounded fantastic! How wonderful it must have been to see the clouds lift and to be able to take in that breathtaking view. Can't wait to see your pics tomorrow.
I hope that all will go well with Mannie's dental and that you can get the urinalysis issue settled, too. Will be thinking of you and the boy.

Wow, that really sounds like an awesome hike in the Alpine and beautiful views. Looking forward to the pics tomorrow. Good luck with the dental. The hardest part is withholding their fuds, as they don't understand why no breffifs! Sending good dental vines and hope no toothie extractions.
 
Mannie is going to have beautiful thooties and is gonna feel real good! Hope the dental goes really easy & well!

I've done so many of these over the years, but Mannie's always freak me out - last one was such an ordeal... well - it will all be good tomorrow! and :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: on the peeing on the floor... I hope they get his sample before he does that... --- thanks on the hike - it was really great!

Hi Ella - the hike was so so great! It was as you describe: there are no words to describe what it was like to watch the clouds lift to reveal such incredible views! and thank on the dental. a little freaked out here, only because of what happened to him last time... it was tough - we did ok, but still tough. so agreed on the urinalysis too.

Hi Ann - it was!! I love the alpine stuff - so far up in the mountains! it is beautiful. And this ione was not to hard of a hike either. I hope I remember to post sum tomorrow in Mannie's condo. and thanks on the dental - I hope so! And yes on the fuds - they will not be happy. :shock: :lol:

Rusty!! what a day - I loved the swimming - brrrrrrrrr! but it was fun! Thanks to your bean for building us the fire, and the toddy's were great! You are getting really good at making them! and yeah...... my bean says I gotta go.... i don't like it there. they are nice and all, but it smells funny, and I think they are messing with my toothies. that is scary - I like my toothies, they better not take any! My sister has to go too - she is really scared, so I guess I had better be brave for her... see you tomorrow! ~~ Mannie
 
Holy cripus....these bouncy kittens!!! Keeping my fingers crossed all goes splendid and quick tomorrow and you get the two of them back home and Mannie's numbers get back to Mannnie-normal.

Loved the story about your hike....I'm so glad you got to see the view after all that work.

Off to bed for me....we busted our tails today and I have to be up early to get Grace done and the boys out the door.

I think Mannie knows tomorrow is dental day, he's nervous already. Good luck tomorrow with the two of them.
