We had a small tornado come right down in front of our house yesterday evening! We lost limbs and part of my greenhouse roof but that's about all. It happened all of the sudden - it was happening before we even had a chance to do anything. I was looking out my front window just in time to see my flag get jerked out of it's holder, fly straight (pole first) about 6' SOUTH, TURN IN THE AIR and end up about 10' on the NORTH side of it's holder...oh how I wish I'd had a video...I'd be $10k richer....... :-D

Oh my, I'm glad you're okay!!! Let's see if the whirlwind pulls KT's numbers down. :mrgreen:

Went out to survey damage in the surrounding area on my weekly shopping trip - evidently the tornado dropped about a block south of us. We watched it go back up about 2 blocks north of us. The only damage is here in our small area - LOTS of big trees down but the only structure anyone lost was a small storage shed. The neighborhood burn pile is HUGE!

I don't know if I have stopped by to say hello! It has been a crazy few weeks for us. Where are you in OK? We are in Tulsa.

WOW!!! Just got a chance to read your condo, and I'm so very glad to hear that you and your family (and others in your neighborhood) didn't get hurt. We had some pretty gusty winds here yesterday, and about 1" of rain. Our grass is coming back, thank goodness. The next system is supposed to happen until about Wednesday where they're saying we have a 20% chance of rain. I hope that it's not like last night's rain. :lol:

We live about 2 hours away from the Texas/Oklahoma border. One of these days we'll get a chance to get up there and visit.
