Yesterday's Condo

I nearly forgot to give Gabby her shot! I was so intent on keeping Gizmo out of Gabby's food while Gabby was eating that the syringe just sat there. Fortunately, my brain decided to wake up and Gabby has had her first course of breakfast AND her injection. (Have I mentioned that I'm not a morning person?)

Gabby is lounging in her toy basket and Gizmo is keeping watch out the window from the top of the cat tree. All of the usual routines are in place.

Here I'm pouring .

My guys had breffis too and all went back to bed. Rainy day and cold front moving in...

They can get us so distracted at times. I think they do it on purpose.

Well you are in good company...I do those "forgetful" things as well..a wee bit more often than I like to admit......But I am a morning person....I have no excuse.

Hey...just wanted to take this time to thank you for all that you do on this message board. I see you both in the early morning hours and late at night helping folks in answering their questions, reviewing their spreadsheets and holding their hands when things get "scary".

Isn't it terrible when you're so intent on getting all the little things in place that you forget the most important thing? I've done that on several occasions, remembering just in time that the shot hasn't been given and the cat is walking away from his bowl. Oh I can relate to that. I stand there thinking something is missing... oh yeah - now I remember. Brain fog at 4:30 am. geez, and some mornings there is never enough ! And I am a morning person....

Thank you all in return. This place is a very special team effort. I love the spirit of "paying it forward" and I likewise had the benefit of the experienced people who keep LL the place it is and who were committed to helping me learn and keeping Gabby safe. And thanks to everyone who tells a wonderful story that makes me smile or laugh and warms my heart.

maybe she's thinking that her great efforts got a little lost here today...so i'm chiming in with this:

Sienne...you are truly a lifejacket and great guide for us, and Gabby...you are an inspiration for all our sugarcats (and the object of envy for at least 2 northwestern civie tortie females!)

Gabby has been surfing just a hair shy of the pink zone most of the afternoon. I'm really hoping this is a high before a break!

I came home from running errands and stretched out to watch some TV. Gabby climbed up on my chest, kissed my cheek, and laid down and just purred and purred and purred. I love when she does that. The first course of dinner was polished off. After the kitties ate, I heard galloping down the hallway and I actually think it was both Gizmo and Gabby .

That's so nice to hear Gabby galloping down the hallway that she usual guards.
Of course tomorrow is Monday so maybe here comes that "break" in true Gabby style.

I too will chime in on the thanks, of course we had many of our own late night sessions where sleep was overated!!!!
I can't believe it is almost a year ago when Max was sick and just diagnosed.
