Ok Gabby, well THAT'S a little more like it! Those pinks aren't a girl's best friend. Glad to see a blue in there... I wonder where she's going tonight with that drop.

Carl:

Gabby doesn't tolerate HC food -- the gluten causes her to have diarrhea. I use a few drops of honey or Karo to steer her numbers. I have to admit, sometimes the Karo bottle is less than cooperative with drops. Tonight she probably got more than what I would usually dribble out. While it bumped her up to the 58 at +3.5, that was a relatively big jump up. She got 2 drops of honey at +3 and I've been feeding LC since (mostly because she's been at my heels if I go into the kitchen). The glycemic index on honey is lower than Karo so it takes longer to kick in and doesn't raise numbers quite as high.

Oh Gabby Gabby! I was wondering if that +2 drop was a sign. Good information on the honey vs Karo. I'll have to remember that depending on where the numbers are in the cycle next time.
