Yay, I won the first race of the day dancing_cat.
When Checkers heard the strip click in the meter, he ran for the cube, but I got there first and kicked it out of the way.
Okay, I still had to pick him up, but at least I didn't have to sit on the floor, folding the cube over/away, him to get the test.
He ate well. Last night's bedtime snack was still there, so he was hungry for fresh food. He still insisted on faucet water, and first thing in the morning, I'm not going to argue with him, so let it run barely. Don't like the watery scarf and barf, he was doing last week.
He's napping next to me now. All's well.
