I'm maybe overthinking, but a question about timing the food/shot...

When timing from food to shot, do you start timing when kitty stops eating? Or from when you first offered food?

Today is Charlie's first Lantus shot (transition from Vetsulin) and I'm super nervous.

You usually test-feed-shoot in 15 minutes or so. So it doesn't really matter.

I've discovered that I messed up my first shots using U100 syringes by shooting 2.0u, not 1.5u. See my photo above from the AM shot.
Can I reduce to 1.5u tomorrow and be okay?

Yes you can give 1.5 tomorrow. Since it was your first shot it should be fine. .
