Just chugging along. Numbers are junk, but it hasn't been the right time outside of FD to increase (medical procedures with a week+ prep, for example), and with his dental next Tuesday and ultrasound next Thursday too. Yesterday we had this randomly really nice full AM cycle of blue out of nowhere. No idea where that came from. I hoped that it would stick around but it seems not (or he's now back to bouncing from that little.
)
He's stopped reliably eating the Weruva flavor we had switched to (BFF Play Pate - Chicken Checkmate) that he was originally so enthusiastic about. There does seem to be a distinction in behavior between the times when he just doesn't want that food vs seeming to not feel well. I don't know why he liked it so much at first and now it's a fight to get him to eat it some of the time. It gets expensive to stock up to have enough only for him to randomly decide he doesn't want it anymore, though.
The other flavors he more consistently likes are higher in carbs and lower in calories (which we don't want when it's hard enough to get enough calories into him as it is!) I may have found another flavor that he'll eat instead (Press Your Dinner). 4% and a good number of calories. He's been enthusiastic about the 3 cans he's had so far, except for when he seemed to not feel well.
Worried about his ultrasound next week. It's better off and on, but some days when he's really not feeling well and not himself, I have this overwhelming, gnawing dread that I don't have that much time left with him. I so hope I'm wrong.
