Trix recovered from yesterday morning's little kibble raid nicely...in fact, other than me catching her red-handed, there really was no evidence of the raid at all. Don't get any ideas from that, though, little missy! Yesterday afternoon, I had this fear that someone ate roasted cauliflower, too. I roasted it for soup, then left it on the cooktop while I showered. When I came back down, it looked as if it had been pushed around. My two suspects were Petey and Trixie, since everyone else was still passed out where I left them. But, I don't think there was a kitty cauliflower thief...everyone chowed down like usual, and no one seemed to have a belly ache. The cauliflower was probably just looking that way from me stirring it, and I'm an expert at giving myself new stuff to worry about! And, the soup was very tasty!

Sending prayers out to Angela and her civvie Shadow, Jamie and Jupiter, and "Li'l T" Tarragon this morning....

Have a great day, everyone!

Amy

Trixie is looking so pretty in her green! :-D  Way to go. You are a worrier. Would cauliflower hurt them? I'm not sure. Our kitties never eat the hoomin food unless there is tuna or chicken involved. Tarragon likes to dip his paw in any kind of sauce that is red (pizza, spaghetti, etc.) and then lick his paw.

Have a great day Amy! Thank you for the prayers. We will put them to good use. :YMHUG:

I looked it up....cauliflower is not toxic to kitties, but I was afraid if they did eat it, it would give them a belly ache. My GA, Mr Kitty, LOVED brussel sprouts! He would fight to get to my plate when we had them! I've never given these guys hoomin fuds...don't want to open that can of works, plus DH and I are vegan.

Morning Amy! Trixie is off to a super start this morning! When people are talking about offering kitties with poor appetites things like tuna water, boiled chicken etc. that they have around the house, I always am glad that Papaya doesn't have appetite issues, because there's nothing but veggies around here either (well apart from her regular food  ). Maybe your vegan ways are starting to interest the kitties if they are chomping on the cauliflower  And brussel spouts? So weird! Have a great day!

Haha your possible (but not probable) cauliflower-theft gave me a good laugh

Trix is in fine form as usual today

Enjoy your day, Amy!

Yikes...lookin' a little bouncy tonight for some reason. It's been awhile since we've seen a number this high...hopefully she won't go for a cliff dive tonight!

Nice numbers for Trixie today. I hope she slowly slides down tonight. I had a cat who like to steal green beans from my plate.

Hi Amy....

My first thought was if there was garlic on the cauliflower, uh oh.. I'd say, what cat would want cauliflower, but cats do like strange things. Checkers went nuts over cantalope!
Nice that she went for a dip today.

She's working her way down a bit.....weird cycle, that's for sure. But, she can do that once in awhile.

Yay...AuntieBarb is here! There wasn't any garlic in the cauliflower...just olive oil, salt, and pepper. I did know about both garlic and onion being dangerous for kitties. I didn't know about cauliflower, though, which is why I looked it up as soon as I thought someone may have had a little snack. But, given everyone's behaviors and LB for the last day, it looks like I've just succeeded in doing what I always do...giving myself nothing to fret about!

Hi Amy,
I'm glad everyone's feeling good and you are less worried about the cauliflower thief.
Nice AM cycle! And nice slide down this evening too.
Go Trixie!
