Is a BCS is more comfy for you while you are away with these AMPS?

I'm just catching up to what went on this week with Tess...

she has been doing so well I'd rather not but being away for 8 hours, we will be here till +2.

are you able to leave plenty of foods around for her to nibble on?
I usually do the same, one bowl on each couch and one on the bed - even without insulin, I worry about Luna not getting enough food, cuz he has a piggy sis.

If Tess will feed herself, you could leave out MC. Otherwise, I'd probably shoot a skinny 0.5u just to be safe -- but I think the food option could be better.

I skinnied up the the shot to straight .5u I don't know maybe I should have gone even more. I fed 6% food which is MC for Tess. I needed to shoot on time so I can get a +2 before I leave. I'm never sure if she will eat while we are gone, which is why I'm worried . She doesn't seem to wake for the time feeder, just sleeps in one spot all day.

I knew there would be a time crunch this morning, which is why I asked yesterday.

Well that 6% certainly worked. I'd be really happy if she stayed around here till we leave. :evil: Bad mom wanting higher numbers.

WCR Only 4 Ps so far but very active for this time of the morning and very hungry, just gave a second breffis of 6% Sophisticat Flaked Trout, yummmm. I've got a lot to get ready for class and get the car packed. I won't be around today so everyone have a good one.

+2~196 even a little higher so she should be good, cleaned off third breffis of 6%. Leaving out lots and hope Tess eats and the ants don't find it!

SHE ATE! Actually the little piglet ate nearly everything I left out and I left twice as much food, of higher carbs, than normal. I don't even mind that much that she is pink, since she could have just eaten. I was worried when we walked in the door, she was curled up in exatly the same spot as when we left. Then I checked the bowls and nearly everything was gone. She hit all 4 of them. :lol: And the 5th P showed up in the LB. :-D

Guys, mom's nome and really happy that I ate. Don't tell her I shared the trout. I told you it was yummy! -- Tess

ohmygod_smile : Tess the hoover. Go figure huh. any other time she'd leave it where it was. Cats! No figuring them. no wonder she is at a 306. :-D well I am sure it will clear soon enough.

I hope all went well for you two today, with class and all, and being gone all day.. Mannie said that the furbabies all had such fun! Lizard grillin', and Moonie brought lizard stew.

Tess - mum's the word, and I won't tell a soul. The trout was really good. My bean has a trout thing I get when my numbers are kinda low. It's one of my favorites. I had fun today - you are so lucky to have dunes like that. See you later? ~~ Mannie

Coming down for PMPS so it probably was a food spike, 276. OK back to work, we have greens to find again.

Michelle, the class went well, but 24 students and 9 have never done any bonsai before. A long day, but only 4 more weeks. At least I've learned that she will wake up and eat while we are gone. Next week no BCS. :lol: (she says confidently now)

Pretty much the same, which is textbook. Paws crossed that the +4 is gets better.

The good out of today is that you know know she will eat when she needs to - that alone should help you out alot. :lol: :lol: and yes, confidently, no more BCS.

wow on the class! that seems large (?) - and 9 newbies? omg. good luck! I hope they do well, and want to learn. it's always nice when you have those that really want to learn.

Michelle, yes a giant class When I teach workshop for clubs there is a max of 8 students. I had to make it a 4 hour class. Even the thats only 10 minutes w/ each student if I didn't lecture. :sad: It's just an Adult Ed class though, so people take it for fun.

Mannie, Today was great but, .....I missed my mom! She''s home and I want to snuggle. So, I'mm gonna stay a little higher so we can go to bed. Where are we meeting tomorrow? Ni Ni -- Tess

wow on the class. but good it's for fun. I hope they do just that. I can't imagine one that size, considering the subject matter. i hope it goes well.

Tess - you go and snuggle with your mom - she missed you too - LOTS! It was nice you kept your numbers up, that way you can sleep with the beans and won't get poked and stuff. WAY COOL!
