Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is still battling those higher numbers. I checked his ss yesterday and discovered that we were on day 43 of the cartridge of Lev., so when I saw the 245 this morning I decided to start a new pen. That will maybe eliminate one possible cause for his un-Rusty-like numbers. He is acting completely normally, eating well, all Ps in place every day, so I don't think he has anything brewing. So we'll go with a new pen and see what happens. (Of course, it won't help that we have to go to NYC on Friday! That trip is always a tough one for him.) He had a good night sleeping with his beans, good test, good breakfast of Wellness Chicken, and now is napping in his little bed by the radiator.

Rain and heavy winds expected today. It doesn't look like there will be much outdoor time for Rusty today. It feels like "hurricane weather" outside. We are so lucky that we had a perfect day yesterday for our paddle. I just took Edward to his yoga class. Yesterday I got the documentation for my new car from the dealer in Vermont, so today I will attempt to register it in NY State. Off now to get some papers xeroxed. bbl,

Hi guys .. good luck with the new pen .. I hope that brings rusty back down into rusty range numbers .. Yuck on the weather, we have the dreary skies going on this morning as well, but thankfully no strong winds .. good luck getting your car registered .. have a great day guys!

Good luck with the new juice! I hope that is all it takes to get things under control before the NYC trip. Sounds like it was a good day yesterday for your paddle. Today is a resting day for mother nature as well. Yay on the new documentation. How are you liking your new car? Have a great day Ella!

Hope new pen brings Rusty back to his usual numbers.

new juice for you Rusty! Way Cool - Mannie got his new juice the other day too. Here's hoping that it will bring both you boys down to better numbers. :-D :-D

Hope all goes well with your car registration! How is the new car? Fun I hope.

Wow on your weather -i will send you some of our sun. How nice that the good stuff showed for your paddle yesterday.

Hi again,

Rusty is coming down gradually. Onset should have begun at around +5 or so; we are hoping that new juice will help with those pesky yellows and high blues.

My new car is now registered in NY. Yay! I like it very much. It is the same model as my old car (4 years younger): now I don't have to worry about things giving out this winter (this is a harsh climate for cars). The trip to the city will be a good shakedown.

Rusty and I just had a good game with his bell balls, his crinkle sack, and his catnip toy. He has decided to chillax on the sack. I'm about to tackle balancing my checkbook!! bbl,

Come on Down Rusty Boy!! You are getting new juice so hope we will see nice numbers tomorrow...
Ella, Glad you did all your chores, and are getting ready for your NYC villa trip...

Hi Ella, I hope the new pen helps bring Rusty's numbers down. Glad you like your new car. There is nothing like feeling safe with your car, especially on trips. Hope the storm isn't too bad. Thanks for your visit and vines for Maggie.

Hi again,

Violent weather all around this evening: tornado watch and flash floods south of us; damaging thunderstorms with large hail to the east. I hope we escape. We have very heavy rain and high winds here, with too-warm temperature. Rusty is not enjoying this weather and is somewhat irritable. He's ignoring me because I didn't let him down into the cellar when I wanted to work out on the rowing machine. When it came time for his PMPS shot, he walked pointedly to the mud-room door--instead of going to his "shot spot" in the living room-- and wouldn't lie down for his shot for about 5 minutes (!) (finally he cooperated, grudgingly). Anyway, it looks like he is coming down the bg ladder. Here's hoping.

Yay on getting the new vehicle registered in NY. That will be a worry off your mind, for the upcoming trip.

We had rain all day and just a little wind. I went for a walk in the rain, as it wasn't too cold.
