I know that Max is bouncing from the green run the other night. This will make cycle 6. He normally doesn’t bounce this long, but I also decreased him just a little the other night because we were going to have to be gone yesterday. Sometimes I can see that he’s going to bounce and other times he may look as though he’s going to bounce but then takes a nose dive down, so for me he’s hard to manage. It takes a lot of work. He also has his other medical problems but he’s been doing well until now. I probably shouldn’t have decreased him even temporarily, but then again maybe I should have stuck with the 6.25 units and left it there. I’m not sure if 6.5 units is too much. He didn’t drop below 50 though. He gets glucose toxic very quickly in past experiences so I’m always leary about decreasing. Wendy, @Wendy&Neko could you please help me? My shot times have varied a little, it’s been a little off routines around here lately, but hopefully that’s over with. I think he’s getting a pancreatitis flare from staying hyperglycemic. That’s also happens very easily with Max. I’m frustrated with the vets office because when his regular vet isn’t there, I get one of these new vets who act like he’s something from outer space and are afraid to do anything without speaking to his usual vet. I won’t even get into that. Anyway, if you have any advice, I’d appreciate it. I’m pretty sure it’s all my fault that he’s all messed up now. Thank you.
