Yesterday started out so well... :-D and then we hit bounce mode... :YMSIGH: Darn it! I had so hoped that he was done bouncing to the pink floor, but alas, I guess Mr. Liver wasn't having any of that, and wanted to make sure we knew he was still there. Well, ok then... Mannie ended up with a mid-level yellow, where it seems he surfed the night. We are at the same number this morning. At least it is consistent! :lol: Hmmmmm.... flat yellow all night.... maybe he'll go blue or green today, as he usually does after a flat yellow surf. Paws crossed. Go for it big guy - your bean is ready! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D What a dreary miserable rainy day here.... no wonder I was awakened by a kitty choir that was less than enthusiastic. :lol: :lol: They were all in rainy weather sleep mode... BJ however was starving, her opinion, and made sure she got me up. Good job little one! :razz: No whacking today too - huh? no whacking? I asked them - what is up guys? The answer? "Just feed us... we are hungry and it's cold and dark and raining and we want our beds back". Can't blame them for that one. We had a great test feed shoot this AM, while the other two hovered, making sure I was working quickly so they could eat. So we did. Breffis was inhaled, clean plate club membership intact. Napping now in progress, as the rains continue to fall, increasing in intensity. Going to be a wet one today... Yesterday I had washed some old stuffed animals: bears and bunnies that my kids used to have years ago - I'd kept the really nice ones. One was a big bunny, a three foot long floppy thing that they just loved. WOW! They cleaned up great - perfect for DGS. I had put this huge bunny in the living room, only to find Mannie last night cuddled up on the belly and feet of this thing.. It was too cute... should have taken a photo....

Have a great day guys! Not too sure what is up here. More catch up, bill paying, health insurance research, as I need to find a new plan.... blech: that is a pain. I hope to get out for a walk in a few, if the rains let up. Probably will go anyways... but less wet would be great.

My friends!!! What's up? It is SO WET here. nasty stuff.... I vote we go back to Camp Stu - keep Rusty company, maybe some leaves have fallen so we can make a leaf pile. Maybe we can just sit by the fire and sip hot toddy's, and warmed niptinis... Sounds great to me! See you guys soon! ~~ Mannie

Yuck on the weather and on the pink floor last night. I wish you could have taken a picture of Mannie on the stuffed animal. That would be an adorable picture. Not so adorable is when I left my best tablecloth on the floor before I was going to wash it and Simon decided it was the best place to sit. Even though I have washed it numerous times, there is still hair on it. Not the best thing to put on the table when guests are over for dinner. Who likes cat hair on their forks and knives! Hope you are able to get out today and take a hike.

I think they moved the party up into the upper levels, get back down where we can see you guys. I hope the weather clears up for your walk.

Hi Georgia - I wish I had taken a photo too... I'm sure he'll be back, next time I will be ready with the camera. :-D and yeah... I know on the table cloth. :lol: There is a part of the sofa here that is like that - I vacuum and clean but it's like those cat hairs will not vacate the premises.... me too on the walk - I should be able to in afew. radar shows a break in all that wet, maybe enough of one, before the next wave of rains moves in...

Hi Michelle, and I bet Mannie comes down to blue in no time. Sorry I missed your visit last night; I conked out early from getting up way too early! Sorry about the rain, but a walk still sounds nice in the rain. We have quite a bit of overcast and dampness in the mornings until almost noon it seems. I guess the rainy, cool weather affects our furbabies, too, with no kitty choir! :lol: So cute with the stuffy bear and Mannie snuggling. Maggie takes any piece of my clothing and uses it as a blanket. Sounds like a good day for catch-up. I have laundry, so not too exciting.

Hi Mannie, hanging out on Rusty's porch sounds okay with me, especially if there are hot toddys and niptunis and some good fuds. Is the KTSS bus picking us up? Sees ya soon, Maggie

Hi Ann - I hope so too. We now have a high end blue, so he's working on it. :-D and no worries on the visit - that happens to me too... just not enough hours in the day. I did get out for a walk... we have a break in the4 downpour, so good to go. It was a bit windy, but that's OK. It was nice at the shore, not too many people today. It must to too wet and windy for most. :lol: yep, the bunny was cute - I hope he goes back - I should have taken a pic last night... no clue why I didn't. :?

Hi Linda - I should have taken that photo last night... what was I thinking? or better yet: not thinking? Too funny on bunnies being the new nanners... could be! I bet he goes back, he was too comfortable there, and he always remembers his comfy spots. :lol: :lol: This time I will be camera ready!

Hi Christie - working on those blues - sure hope he goes there.. :-D and yes on the bunny shot - I keep waiting, but he hasn't gone back. maybe when he thinks the coast is clear. :lol: :lol: hey thanks on the video. it is nice to live so close to the shore: we get to see some pretty amazing things. We did get a little sun this afternoon. I'll take it! They say the next several days are supposed to be 70, and sunny. I do so hope so!

Mannie, after we go to Willie's to celebrate Gracie's anniversary, we can all come back to Camp Stu. My beans will be out all day tomorrow and it's supposed to be sunshine and a little warmer. We could even go swimming (well, some of us could). I sat in my papabean's canoe today, but I got outta there before my mamabean could get her camera. Ted is right, man: You don't want to be photographed with a bunny! I wouldn't mind being photographed in a canoe, but it's the principle of the thing, ya know? See you tomorrow.

Hi Ella - oh that i so true! one of those dreary drizzly rainy days we are so well known for. :lol: :lol: We did get some sun later in the day. Temps have been in the 60's, so not too bad. and I so hope so on the numbers.

Rusty - that would be a go! I am so stoked - all that time at camp Stu - AWESOME!!! You got to sit in a canoe???????? DUDE! That is so cool, ya know? I hear ya on the photo thing... I'm not givin' my bean the opportunity, no way, no how... Shesshhhhh! See you at Gracie's party, and tomorrow!!! I wonder if we still got them wetsuits around... ~~ Mannie

Thank you for sharing our day with us. You and Mannie are so special to us. Your condo is always the place to be!!! So much fun...so upbeat....I love your attitude about it all!

Mannie...you gots a bunny you sleep on????? I LOVED MY PARTY!!!! And Rusty grilled corn for me which is my favorite but my bean never lets me have!! What a day!! Now off to Camp Stu. You guys are all the bestest friends EVER!
