Leo is recovering from his commute to mama bean's work apartment yesterday. He sniffed for a while then hid under the bed for a while, with occasional forays out to sniff more places. I made a little "couch" for him beside my living room chair (I have no couches) and later in the evening, he relaxed up there and took a nice long bath. I think he slept under the bed the whole night, but I think he jumped up and sniffed me at one point, but it could have been a dream. Looking at his behavior, he seems to be thinking, "this places is different, but so much is the same..." :smile: Purring, peeing and pooing have been achieved. (I forget the other two Ps!)

Now comes the challenges. I'll stay for +1 or +2, then I'll have to drive round trip about an hour and 30 minutes to come home at nadir to test. I wish my apartment were closer to my job! But is sure is nice to have a kitty in my lonely weekday home. :smile:

I'm glad you got there and are settled in. Leo will figure it out soon enough. Preening and playing are the other two. Sounds like Leo got the preening in last night with the bath. Have a great day Lisa!

Ahhhh, I figured out the playing since I posted I wouldn't have gotten the Preening.

Well, then I can report that we have all 5 P's in place today! Yay for Leo!

If the traveling becomes the new norm, Leo will learn to be at home.
Pretty neat that he is adapting that well already.
Mine would never handle it.

Sadly, no blues, but I'm happy to see a yellow in there, after the string of blacks and reds :-|

I went home for lunch, and he's still nervous, but did some more preening while I ate. Good boy!

Sounds like Leo is adjusting pretty quickly. I'm sure it helps that it smells like Mom. Nice yellow at +5.

Carla - he sure is ... we got a BLUE by the skin of our teeth!

And shockingly, we had a very bad storm go through with a tornado north of us. Leo hates storms, and he was in the apt alone. When I got him he was under the bed. I felt so bad for him! I didn't test him when I got home but figured I'd get a +10. What a good boy!

This driving thing is painful. Get up, work from home for a while, shoot, wait for +1.5. Drive to work, work 3 hours, come home for quick lunch and test (takes 1.75 hours) back to work for 5 hours, now home doing some work from home. But I have kitty cat company! cat_pet_icon

I'm proud of you, Lisa. I bet having Leo there, is a comfort. I hope you don't have to work too hard.

Sorry I haven't kept up lately, but does this look like a bounce clearing cycle to anyone else?
PMPS could be an interesting number.

Hi Carl - I think there's a lot going on here ... the missing shot on 9/14 and that bounce, the dose increase later that day and trying to build back up his shed. And then the car ride down here and stress of a new place - ack! So I think we're coming out of a bounce. Actually, I'm surprised he hit blue today since we ALSO had a thunderstorm. The PMPS was nice and steady, but now I think I'll be up to test a little more than normally, since I don't know what he'll do! I'm going to test at #2. If he were lower, I'd test at +1 but I think we're good to wait until +2.

Thanks Dyana :smile: It's wonderful to have him here. I can do some work from home but I do have to go in every day.

We're thinking alike. I was gonna say a +2 might be a good idea. He may have gone lower if it weren't for the T-storm stress and the travel, so yes, I think he's past the bounce. I'll be around and I'm sure others will be too.
