Yesterday

PMPS = 131 (shot 15 min early)
+2.25 = 107
+3 = 100
+5.5 = 129 (I fell asleep on the couch)

AMPS = 328 (shot 15 min late)

Gizmo didn't want to eat this morning. Yesterday, I started to remove more of the mixed grill (high phosphorus) from his diet. Guess he is probably going to just have to have that food in his mix. It is a small percentage of his overall food (25%), but I would still rather him not eat any of it.

I gave up on the food at PMPS and just gave him half soulistic and half Friskies. He will eat it that way, but gets picky if I do 3/4 soulistic and 1/4 Friskies. Figure he needs to eat and I got most of the high phosphorus food out of his diet. I'm going to calculate the mixture of food he eats throughout the day to see how much phosphorus he is really getting. I'm just curious and have nothing better to be doing. :rolleyes:

Vet called tonight. He was ok with us increasing to 6.5 units and is looking into if they are able to compound the cabergoline at their pharmacy. @Marvin's Mom - Nat I think you were the one who posted about making sure there is no added sugar when compounding, but I think there was another ingredient that was less obvious that is to be avoided as well. Does anyone know what I need to make sure isn't added?

Thanks again to everyone for their endless help and support on this journey! :):bighug:

I wonder if just alerting them to that fact that the medicine is for a diabetic. I never asked or inquired about any adverse ingredients. Will ask when I do the first refill. I know I was asked if chicken flavor was ok. That was all.

Picky Gizmo :rolleyes:, it's only just a little more Soulistic. Glad things are falling into place with the cabergoline. Might it have been the flavour? Sometimes they use salmon or tuna flavour, but I can't see why that would be an issue?

I cánt remember, but there was something. I will have to look back through the threads.
100% Soulistic - no way ... but they have no problem gobbling down the Tiki Cat:rolleyes: they have expensive taste. Lol

same with Marvin. that the only thing they asked, and I did mention sugar and was all good, none.
