Cleo's 9/17 Condo

Slowly creeping down this morning, but then the PMPS was a smidgeon higher than yesterday. We'll see how this evening cycle goes.

WCR: The litter does seem to be attractive to Cleo! We had both P's in there when I came home from work, so that's progress. I'm not a huge fan of the clumping quality of the litter - it doesn't clump up as hard/dry as the other litter I use, but if Cleo likes this litter, I am fiiiine with that!

You are doing a great job of getting night tests, Kathy. Is there any way at all to get w +2 or out the door test in the morning or do you have to shoot and leave? I'd just like to see what her day cycles look like. some cats cycles look the same am and pm and others look quite different.

Hope you are well! Nice to see your condo.

Thanks for stopping in Marje!

Depending on the day I can get maybe a +1 or +1.5 in the AM, but that's usually the best I could hope for unless I wasn't going into work that day, and those are only even possibilities on days I don't go to the pool before work. Mostly I've been relying on weekends to see how her day cycles go and hoping they are representative of the rest of the time. Unfortunately (or fortunately) our schedule on weekends has been hectic recently, so even on weekends I haven't been home that much and my parents have been helping out doing PS tests and giving insulin.

If you think it would be helpful I can start trying to get a +1.5 or so out the door in the AM.

always good when they keep it in the litterbox. :-D
I bought the box and a huge bag of litter from the FDMB shop and it's been great so far.
Even though we aren't needing urine samples, I can get one easily now. I can wash/rinse/dry the litter and keep using it and I can flush the poo
without litter.

Hope Cleo brings it down some more. She can be bluer. :-D

Oh, did you get the crystal kind? I went for the more typical litter (clay/clumping).

I tried the crystal kind before when we tried an automatic litterbox in December - both were an utter failure with Cleo. We ended up having to return the (very expensive) automatic litterbox because Cleo would have nothing to do with it! Ugh, little monster :)

And yes, here's hoping for lower blues tonight. She should still be dropping.

it's not an automated box.

It's the smart cat box and it uses safflower seed. ( seems to take a long time to break down)
They sell it up above where it says Shop. ( right here on this page)

Apparently there are some cheaper versions that everyone told me about after I bought it but I wasn't shipping 50 lbs of litter back.
I haven't even opened the 50lb bag yet , I"m still on the seeds that came with the box.
But the transition was smooth, no hiccups.
Someone had a very good idea.

If you can do it, I would. It might give you an idea of where she is headed.

I'll see what I can do Marje :)

So it looks like another high-ish, flat cycle so far. We'll get another reading before bed I think. I'm trying to remind myself to be patient and let this dose settle, and that she IS coming down from the 300s she was at, but still, this feels like steps backward instead of forward :(
