Good morning LL!

We had another evening of our lowest preshot ever - 81. Every time I get worried, nothing dramatic happens. He actually surfed in the low blues all night long. I'm quickly getting used to these low preshots. This morning he threw me a 156 AMPS. I probably shouldn't have given him that snack at +9 during the night but I feel so guilty when he actually wakes me up because he's hungry. Yep, he definitely has me trained

Yahtzee is doing well today. Promptly ate his breffis at shot time and is currently curled up in a little ball taking a nap on his favorite rug. He pokes his head up every time I walk past just to see what's going on (or is he checking for the lancet pen in my hand  ).

Prayers, vines, lubs, and hugs to all those in need!

Re: 9/17 Yahtzee AMPS 156

Yahtzee's SS looks great the last few days! You're doing a great job. It's funny how they train us so well, isn't it? One of my civvies, Shnookie, doesn't like to hop the fence (he's 20 lbs) so he'll stand at the gate and meow until someone lets him in from the front yard.

Re: 9/17 Yahtzee AMPS 156

Last night was filled with possibilities.
It will happen.
It is hard not to give something when they ask. Especially when they wake you up and you think they really need food.
So far, every time my girl has gone up instead of down so she's fooled me very time.
I'm learning to roll back over instead of getting all nervous.

Maybe we'll get another similar evening.
Be wary of the planned outage.

Re: 9/17 Yahtzee AMPS 156

Wonderful report for Yahtzee!! I know ALL about being trained by cats...6 of them own "my" house and run my world. They wear me out, but are worth every second of it!

Have a a great evening!!

Here's our first yellow in the last three days. I'm not discouraged. I suspect it has something to do with switching syringes. I had previously used BD pet syringes purchased from our vet and just switched over to ReliOn ($1 ea to 12.6 cents ea). According to a syringe experiment performed by someone (?) the BDs have a greater and higher variance than the ReliOns. So maybe Yahtzee was actually getting more than a F 0.5 with the BDs and now he's getting a touch less. I really should bite the bullet and order a caliper. On a plus note, I didn't have to worry about lows while I was away for most of his AM cycle.

In case anyone is interested, here's the link to the syringe experiment: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spr...USzqQY6PcFoxc29OcE9XUkNEYzB4aVlTVV9xQmc&gid=0

I wish I could remember where I found this, probably on FDMB somewhere. I owe someone credit for this information. Thanks whoever you are!!

Yahtzee is doing great again tonight! Napped on the back of the couch for a bit. Following dinner he did another rampage throughout the house!

What's better than trying to carry a full laundry basket up stairs with a 12+ pound cat running between your feet trying to beat you to the top?
The obvious answer is trying to carry a full laundry basket up stairs with TWO (or more ;-) ) 12+ pound cats running between your feet trying to beat you to the top!!!!

Hopefully yahtzee will clear this bounce quickly and get back to those wonderful numbers.

Good job with him yesterday, Deb!

Three mini flights of stairs, might I add. Why did I want a 4-level house?!?! Furchildren are lucky I'm still nimble and agile!!

Thanks Marje, for the well wishes and the support last night!!
