Recap of yesterdays numbers:

AMPS - 354
+6 = 251
+9.5 = 372
PMPS = 305
+3 = 372

Looks like dose increase is working as well as the new insulin. Hoping for lower numbers tomorrow.

I thought I had been here already today.
Guess I thought wrong.

I have had to post in short spurts since we are down to one computer and this one keeps overheating.
If I don't quit early enough, it crashes. :?

Hope Scratchie comes down some more.
I'm always watching. :-D

Today was Scratchies 6th cycle at this dose. Normally, I'd say time to go up And I do think he needs more insulin. But, even when he is high, you need spot checks. Why? There have been lots of kitties who will start the day at 300, drop to 50 at mid cycle, and end up at 300 by the next PS. If you have no mid cycle spot checks, you don't catch those low numbers. Then you start thinking he needs more insulin but without knowing how low he comes down, you could risk him being overdosed.

I'd try to get a test or two tonight and also tomorrow. If he's still high, I'd take him up tomorrow night.

I work 10 hours days Monday through Friday so I can only get good tests, spot checks during the weekends. I'm hoping he will go down and as of this morning he did. I will try to get more numbers at night. I determined that my insulin was bad and picked that up Saturday afternoon so I think that helped as well.
