    Regardless, I will continue to monitor her bg at least once per day for a few more weeks. I’m excited to not take the morning AMBG every day though. That one was always the hardest. Penny is a bit sassy in the mornings and doesn’t like to stay still for pokes when she knows that breakfast is coming.

    Off the juice. As in, no more insulin. Diabetes is in remission.

    I want to throw offer some info regarding current use of GLP-1 agonists to SUSTAIN remission in cats. Fortunately, they have been studied for years now in cats—at least going back to 2011–so side effects concerns etc are able to be shared....not a “who knows what potential risks” there are situation.

    I am going to share the links and you can contact either if you are interested. My understanding is your vet is able to manage it with the help of the main study site but that will have to be discussed ! Best!!
