It looks like Maggie surfed blues all night. All P's in place today. I am having some problems with the microdosing and the Monojects syringes. It's taking me 20 minutes today to get the dose right! I've noticed that even when I'm at the very top line, there is still some Lantus juice in the syringe, about 3 to 4 small drops! Has anyone noticed that with the microdosing or any advice on getting the dose right with the Monojects? And it's not just one syringe, as I've tested others. I'm not quite sure what I shot this morning. When I gave Maggie her shot, she flinched. I didn't smell any juice on her, so we'll be able to tell in an hours or so. Shortly, I need to go next door and feed Kitsi, my neighbor's kitty with the "cattitude.". She actually let me brush her a short while last night without whacking me with her claws! One nice thing is that her owner has her on wet food and just some Whicker Lickins as treats, so Kitsi is looking pretty fluffy and healthy! I'm hoping her caregiver comes home today. Maggie is looking good today.....I don't think it was a fur shot! That is a nice gentle drop....no advice on micro-dosing (yet!).

Yay, I guess the shot did get in even though she flinched, and I withdrew right away!

Hi Angela, maybe a green as it's still early, but she usually surfs real even and hardly ever a drastic drop! The 134 might be a green on my back-up Relion Micro.

I've always thought Ann & Tess had a really good strategy for microdosing...
I'll try to find the post where she shared her tips...

They do like to change their Nadir's around on us! Usually Mags starts to rise at the +5~who knows!

Are any of you having problems typing on Google? Whenever I try and enter Maggie's readings, at the top of the page, it says "Trying to reach Google.com"! I am on Internet Explorer.

Maggie has been looking really good lately. No answer on the google question. I remember having some trouble awhile back and decided to install google chrome to open my ss. Then after a period of time Explorer started working again. Hope you can get it resolved.....its such a pain, eh?

you'd think Google would have no problem reaching Google...

Thanks Tena; I do remember I had some troubles a while back, too, and can't remember how I fixed it. I may try on Tech forum if it doesn't work later. I think I may have too many add ons, or my computer needs cleaned out, too.

Usually, you get that message from Google if there's some difficulty with your connection. Check to see if you've got a good connection especially if you're using wireless.

Thanks Sienne. I have been having problems connecting with Internet Explorer off and on all morning. I'll call my Carrier and see what's up with it!

Now working! confused_cat I was just about to pick up the phone and call Time Warner when I gave the ss one more try and presto! Internet Explorer is working, thus the ss, too. Thanks again.

What a nice surf Maggie had all day today. Very consistent numbers. Have a restful evening and glad the neighbor's cat didn't beat up on you today.

Hi Georgia, thanks on Maggie's nice cycle and :lol: thank goodness Kitsi's Owner came home today and I'm off duty from getting whacked by the cattitude kitty!

What a great day for Maggie!!!! I'm really impressed.

Hope all continues to go well with Kitsi and your neighbor is home soon.

I use the MJs and once I insert the syringe into Gracie, I compress the plunger pretty hard and hold it tightly for 10 seconds and then slowly withdraw the syringe. There is not any insulin left in it at that point. They do take some getting used to.

Hi guys. You and Maggie sure are doing great. Good to see. I never could figure out how people give micro doses. It sure seems to be working for you, Keep it up.

Thanks Marje; yes, Mags did have a nice cycle and day. Thanks on the advice for the Monojects. It seems each brand is a little different, and I really should stick with the same one. Kitsi's Owner is home today, thank goodness. :-D

Wow - am I ever late in visiting you! What a nice cycle for Maggie - even a green in there too. :mrgreen: :cool: Looks like she is ready for a nice even blue surf tonight.

I am glad you got your google thing fixed... what a pain, maybe the connection was at fault. I run into that sometimes when the folks I use are having problems. Who knows, huh.

Hope all works out OK with the monojets - I use them too. I haven't had that problem - but then again even though Mannie's dose is a shaved dose i Still am not near the point where I need to worry about drops. good luck! I measure to what is the predetermined line for his dose and we are good to go.
