Can you sniff the injection site? It does look a little odd. Or it could just be the tortie in her.

I can, although my sniffer isn't great. She's also cleaned herself several times today (how dare I get human stink on her, but also please give pets. )

I smelled her just now after her shot - I didn't smell anything out of the ordinary. I haven't completely ruled out the tortie side of her.
