Well this is our 4th blue amps day in a row (anti-jinx) I can really get spoiled to this green too whenever it decides to make a appearance rather it hold off today since its a long work day and I would rather he did not do anything dramatic on those long days when I am gone, got the automat set that he will ignore sigh..... hoping he will get used to it one day DS is here to feed him lunch I will not be home till + 11 today long day hope all is well with everyone here all P's in place with Do Lou

Voodoo update well he must be feeling better then the Bean thinks we have a girl in heat right now and he sprayed last night on some of his bedding something he usually does not do soooo I told him he must be feeling better to be doing that sort of thing he normally is not a spraying boy well this was really not a spray more like a pee on clothing in the bathroom and a blanket but it was such a mess and sure did smell  I think he must be on the mend

Glad to hear Voodoo is feeling better.....sorry you have to deal w/the spraying.....

Do Lou....don't you know that Lisa needs to get to work. Ugh, I hate it when Curry decided to start dropping when I need to be leaving for work....that causes me the most stress. Ugh.

Good luck today.

Right there with you , worrying what will be going on when they are not watched like hawk. I have that situation tomorrow. But DS will be there to feed him, just not test right?

If Do Lou dropped while you were home to monitor, he wouldn't be a cat.

How does DS feel about learning how to test?

HAPPY BELATED BIRFDAY!

Also I was given mirtazapine for voodoo today I had never heard of this really funny how working in the lab for years you just stay out of touch with drugs sometimes I know I have seen some of you discuss it in condos before she asked how he was and well I said better but not himself and still not eating normal so she wanted me to try this so any input those of you who have used it would like to share if it helps or not would like to hear from you confused_cat

Wanted to add that the automat was open and food totally untouched   even though its merricks surf and turf one of his favorites I am beginning to think I am never going to get him and the automat together at least DS got out of class and fed him at 1

Hey Do Lou - what's up! I hear your bean is trying to get you to eat out of one of those machines, they are sooooo weird. My bean tries too, but I ignore it. We should be served, don't ya think? Hey - we are all surfin' the blue lagoon tonight - you wanna come? See you there!! ~~ Mannie

Hi Lisa - can't answer the question on mirtazapine - no experience with it here.

I hope Do Lou gets the feeder thing down. Feeding was such an issue for me while I was working. I hope DS can help, maybe with testing too. Good luck!

nice too to read that voodoo is feeling better.

Hi Lisa,
I hope that all was well when you got home today. Funny how so many of our kitties like to be served "in person". Stu likes his present automat, but he didn't like the 5-compartment one that rotated. I switched to the 2-compartment CatMate C-20 and he has no problems with it. Accepted it right away. It even comes with it's own cold pack that fits under the food trays.
So glad that Voodoo is feeling more like himself!!!!! I can't wait for the pill shooter to arrive!!

Ella & Stu

I also have the C20 and it has been a life saver. Our guys took to it right away.
I work all day and it's nice knowing that the food is available. If he's low and I have to leave I slip in a little MC food to ease my mind.

Well its the C20 that he does not like at this time and I have been trying to get him used to it for months :YMSIGH:  so I may buy the 5 compartment one to see if maybe he would like it better ECID and maybe he would who knows with his majesty

meowzapine?

it worked really well on meowzi. made her happy and purry and hungry. we call it her happy pill. she gets a little chatty, but not too much - more purry than chatty. and nuzzly. it was a lifesaver for us.

in some other cats, it makes them hungry, but they won't stop howling. non-stop. ECID. some cats react badly to it - linda's bear is one. i wouldn't give the first dose without being present to monitor.

what dose, and how often? it takes up to 72 hrs to clear, so don't give it daily - your vet has probably told you that.
