Not much to say except the last 6 cycles have been ideal! Her AMPS was slightly higher than the past few morning, but she snapped right to the 50's again. Go Bell!

Had to set my alarm every hour last night to make sure she was still ok. Fed her a bit every hour to keep her riding the 60s. Still don't have a good feel of when it is safe for me to go to sleep, but I saw her jump into the 70s at the +6 and figured she'd be ok.

Smart kitty. Figured out how to get her Dad to feed hourly. Maybe auto feeder for the middle of the night??:blackeye:
(I have several feeders with am and pm cycles programmed into them)
:D:cat::D

Yeah, I do use an auto feeder during the night (Bell has to eat at least every 3 hours due to her bilious vomiting syndrome :rolleyes:). Sometimes she eats from it other times she doesn’t :rolleyes:. The reason why I was setting alarms was because I wasn’t sure if it was safe to just leave food out and go to sleep. She was hovering around 60s before the +6 (1 AM my time). Once I got a reading that popped into the 70s that was past the nadir, I loaded up the autofeeder and conked out.

I don’t know if I’m being smart or overly cautious… I once went to work when she was in the low 60s (past the nadir of the cycle) and came back to her being in the low 50s at +9 or +10, which scared me.

In a few weeks, I have an all day conference I need to be present for. I can give her the AM shot but won’t be around to monitor, which is scary to me. I can have friends check on her and make sure she is eating, but they won’t be comfortable with the pokes. Need to think through what to do for that.

If anyone feels like I’m being overly cautious, please let me know! I’m new to these very low numbers and she is hanging out in them for a loooooong time :D. Terrified of waking up/coming home to a cat having a seizure or worse.
