Although I would have liked to have seen her BG go into the blue'ish spectrum, I was pleased that she stayed out of the black for the entire night. Came close, but never hit 500. One thing that stood out was the numbers didn't spike up and down either but kept at a more slow and steady up and down all night. I'm taking that for a good sign that the bouncing is decreasing in its intensity. Normally she would have bounced beyond the meters ability to read the numbers.
She got her standard 0.01 IU and today started another food ratio adjustment. I've been adding quite literally a half tsp more of the DM each day. So she's now 2 1/2 tsp of DM to 1 1/2 tsp of Raw. There appears to be no tummy upset but I keep watching for any signs of it. She's really had a good past 24 hours as she's been moving all about the house enjoying all these open windows.
I've made note of those nausea drugs suggested in case something more than pepcid is needed. Once she's totally on the DM and doing well I will slowly try getting her to eat more food less frequently but for now plan on continuing as I have. I've noticed she's handling 3 tsp at a time okay when I've offered it, so that's a good thing I can work on into the future. But I'm moving slow with her.
