How are his ears? How's the Flovent going? Seems like you've been doing it regularly and you said his breathing was a lot better. It seems like you have a good routine with the two asthma meds now. I wonder if his tumor is pulsing? Did you ever think about adding Cabergoline to his meds for the acro? My apologies if I asked you this before.

Hi Suzanne. Ears and breathing seem to be okay right now. He is doing better on the Flovent. I thought about the tumor too. It's weird how he dropped into the greens a little over a week ago and even a little too low at one point. Now he's back into these high numbers again. I am interested in Cabergoline but my vet won't prescribe it. I am hoping when he goes to NCSU, Dr Lunn might prescribe it?

Very typical with insulin resistance caused by the pituitary tumour. Check out Neko's 2015 SS, starting mid July. She was mostly regulated before then, and the tumour took off. I'd increase, rein the numbers back in, and off they'd go again. :arghh: My mentor here, Julie (& punkin) once described it like chasing after a speeding train.

That’s a very good analogy. It all has been so emotionally, mentally and physically challenging. It’s way more common than I thought. I absolutely would have been lost, had I not found you all here to share your experiences. It looks like you did an amazing job caring for Neko. Hope I can get Max some help soon to try and get better control for longer periods at least.
