HAPPY SUNDAY!!
Hershey seems to be feeling good, ripping and roaring last night with Oreo for close to 10 minutes. He's eating okay, not finishing his meals right away...sometimes not at all, but at least eating most of it.
I have NO idea what's going on with his numbers, though.
- On the 14th, I posted wondering WHERE that (453) had come from, but the rest of the day wasn't too bad - saw BLUE in PM.
- The 15th started with a BLUE AMPS, so I figured the wonky day was over. (paha) +4.25 was PINK, but I thought maybe the insulin was a little slower onsetting. I was just happy not to have to worry about him since I'd be gone the whole cycle. Left a +5.5 meal in the auto-feeder, just in case he dropped. It was empty when I got home, but have no way of knowing who ate it and I've seen Oreo going to town on Hershey's food a few times lately. Blue PMPS, well that's good! +5.25, back to PINK. confused_cat +8.25, finally down to YELLOW...scratching head...Need to get through Sunday morning, then we can INC, if necessary...
- Today:
AMPS (334) +12 - Shot .65u at 3:00am - 1/16th tsp Miralax
+5 (58) o.k. WHERE did THAT come from? and WHY does he do this when it's time to leave? - fed 1/2T 7 Friskies Pate'
+5.25 (54) - fed T 7% Friskies Pate'
+6 (60) - Left LC meal available and out the door
PMPS (385) +12.75 - Shot .65u at 3:45pm - 1/16th tsp Miralax - Bounce from GREEN this morning? Reset dose counter? INC tomorrow?
Thinking it may be a bounce, or could be more of this wonky behavior he seems fond of lately. Not sure how late a shot can be before resetting dose counter...INC tomorrow? I think we might should hold off on that for another cycle or three to see if he can settle into some kind of regular reaction. Sound like a plan??
I sure hope this is coherent. I've had roughly 12 hours of sleep in the last 3 days and am exhausted. The local street fair went well yesterday - gorgeous day - and Jessica's jewelry booth did a little better than usual. It was great to see family and friends that I haven't seen in years! and some that I only see that one time each year. I even saw a guy I haven't seen since graduation 29 years ago. Jessica and I were walking down main street and I heard someone calling my name. Turned around and he was running after us...sure wish I could remember his name... :roll: :lol: ...people keep telling me I haven't changed since high school...I had NO idea I looked so rough in high school!
Anyhoo - the long, fast-paced day sure took its toll!
THANKS for visiting and for any insight you could share...I'll try to get by to visit, but I don't know if I have enough sense to do that tonight or not...Thinking of everyone and their kitties and hoping y'all have a peaceful night!!!
