9/15 Skunky OTJTrail 5 AMBG 48 last night 75

Hi all.
Skunky's AMBG was 48. Woot!

Yesterday was wild and crazy and I didn't even get an AM number, I did test her at 5 p.m. (5 hours after my normal AMBG)

anyway, it was 51. Shazaam. Last night PM was 75.

PetSafe5 ordered. Expedited shipping paid. :cry:

The ex will be watching her for my vacation for four days, he'll be staying here so that is great. I'm glad I got that figured out.

Going to buy a bigger litter box today. I think her's is just too small and that's why we get this peeing outside the box. You know when you've really got to go. . . it's a high pressure hose

I discovered Saturday night she had peed on some clothes in my bathroom closet. This is downstairs, her litter box is upstairs. I hope it was either her complaining about her dirty litter box or her being in my bedroom trying to wake my up because she was hungry and whining, and then getting a little urge incontinence. I mean, when you gotta go. . . So I'm just hoping that's all that was.

Way to go on your OTJ trial, Skunky! Now just be a little better about keeping it inside the box for your Mama and Daddy -- it's much more refined.

She's got a new huge deluxe litter box. It's still in the car, but it's da bomb!

Hi Sarah.

Great idea to get a bigger box. That solved my problem with Cinco peeing outside the box, too. You mentioned the lb is upstairs and she's peeing downstairs. Maybe she's telling you that sometimes she can't make it that far. Is it possible for you to put a box on both floors? The experts say you should have at least one more box than you have cats. We did even better - we have seven boxes! We had five cats, and a two story house, so we wanted to make sure they had no excuse for not using one of them. It's worked out pretty well. We lost one of our kitties last year, but kept all the boxes, as they are all accustomed to them.

thanks all! I heard her using the new box this morning.

I do think her problem was she just didn't have time to make it upstairs. We had two boxes but they were side by side so that kinda misses the point I think!

Of course she loves new ones, so that may be the only reason she used it. It's so funny that as soon as I finish scopping her box she like wants to run in there and use it immeditately when it's all fresh and clean.

I also put a nubby rubber rug under the new one I hope she likes it ok.

I'm still contemplating whether to call the vet and take her in to see if she has a UTI. I don't want to have to burden my ex to try and give her pills while we're on vacation but I also don't want to leave her sick. She's been a tad bit grumpy.

I bought some pH crystals (i may have said that already) but they didn't change color at all when she peed on them. I tried some plain water and it was the same, so maybe there no good. Of course, if her pee is the same pH as water that's probably not normal.
