Good morning!
AMBG 121
Beans slept in today and Boomer had access to his +9 until +11. He was sleeping with me after his +9 but when I woke up at +11 he was gone so I suspect he had a wee snack then. I think to avoid this in the future I will set up his auto feeder to turn at +9.5.

Today is salsa day so this bean won't be around much for the next few hours :D

Maybe it's a seasonal thing...Trix is a little high for her, too. C'mon kitties, get it together!

You've got me curious about this salsa...when I make it, it takes 10 minutes tops. Care to share the recipe??

Have a great day, Judy!

Sure I can, I just have to find the electronic version of our recipe. I think it might be on my desktop computer and DH is on there right now

Love salsa! We had a great NJ garden with loads of yummy tomatos and lots of frozen salsa. I think Wendy mentioned that you don't have to test at normal AMBG time while OTJ. Maybe waiting 3/4 hours after breakfast will help out and allow you to sleep with no worries.

Yeah it's just habit lol. I could test later but that +3 test would put it at 11:00 am so I might be out, doing a photo session, etc. Just seems easier to test at 8:00 am :cat:

Here is my husband's salsa recipe. Makes about 36 1/2 quart jars. It's really good!

GREG’S SALSA

In a large pot blanche tomatoes for 10 minutes, place in cold water, remove skins.

Chop tomatoes, green/red/yellow/jalapeno peppers, onions, celery, and garlic and place in large pot and simmer for 3 hours.

Add vinegar, sugar, salt, paprika and let simmer for 1 hour.

Add tomatoes paste, let simmer for 30 minutes.
