Zener is doing fine this morning. Appy is VERY happy, no bowl chasing to speak of and I gave his shot while his face was buried in the food bowl! That happens about twice a year. :lol: :lol: :lol: Now to get that BG down. He and Tillie had to check out the mice this morning. There is the usual group in the wood pile and I saw another one building a nest under the rain barrel. I'm going to move the rain barrel now that the monsoons are over so that little mouse is going to have to find a new home.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Jamie and Jupiter (doing very well after surgery, keep that cone on!). Congratulations, Elian, OTJ! Happy Caturday, LL!

Do they eat the mice? I had a dream last night that J.D. had a huge mouse in his mouth and I had to turn my head.

Yay on the happy appy this morning. I'm sure the mice keep Zener and Tillie very entertained. My kitties love watching the chipmunks and squirrels out the window.

Back to blue, Zener must want his numbers down so he can eat all the wunnerful treats at tonight's OTJ party! party_cat

@Dyana - only once did we see any evidence of kitty catch consumption (the "headless mouseman"). It is quite rare they actually catch anything, and if we see that happen, the beans run out and force the kitters to do "catch and release". Zener does like to eat his insect catches though. :cool:

@carla - it's been great kitty entertainment. We call it "rodent tv". :lol:

Zener is a smart boy, leaving room for extra treats at the party!!

Rodent TV - LOL!!! I hate to find an injured anything out there. I want it to be alive enough to catch and release, or deceased. Hate to see them suffer. Opie, my civvie, loves worms!! They are the only thing I see him eat--gross!!! Civvie Simon likes to eat the crunchy bugs, then always brings them back up for me to see :o

Nice sliding Zener, let's see if you can take it down another lever. Or are you going Swedish again?

Neko once brought a dead large mouse (aka rat) to the back door and wanted in with it. It took a lot of work to pry her jaws open in spite of lifting her off the ground so she had less traction. I too prefer the watch but don't eat model for rodents here.

@mariko - Zener is liking these late nadirs recently. Beans, not so much. ;-) So right you are about the happy appy!

@Josie & Ripley - our handsome guy looks ever so good in his blues and greens. :razz:

@Marje & Gracie - it's just too darn convenient for the night duty bean to have a PJ party tonight, I can sleep in tomorrow. I reckon he'll opt for Sunday night, when I have to be up to teach an 8am class on Monday. :roll: Gracie, Neko and Papaya will have to party on.

@Deborah & Shasta - he's on his way up in the blues after that lovely PMPS. Lately he likes to come up earlier in the evening and then he drops back down for a late nadir in the AM too. Of course, it's not like we can really predict a darn thing. :lol: :roll: :lol:
