A dive into the lagoon evening

flip_cat and off we go! Not unexpected considering the swift and deep dive into the lagoon after a long time of not visiting there. Pokey break for our guy and beans today.

We are so sad to read in Wendy and Neko's condo of the crossing over of Jill's beloved Alex. Jill and Alex were the first to help us when we finally starting posting and quit lurking at FDMB. I was just about to give up and Zener was using up his nine lives pretty quickly. Jill was a lifesaver that night and encouraged us to put up a SS and condo and to keep posting and guided us to the information in FDMB and to LL to learn as much as possible about giving our guy the best care possible. The generous and loving community we became part of has been such a gift. It's been 3.5 years and Zener is still with us. Even on his bad days, he is still better than before we were steered in the right direction by Jill. We are sending loving energy her way as she grieves the passing of Alex.

Jill has always been my hero here on LLand, and I am sending her loving thoughts too.

I hope you two three enjoy your pokey break. Nice numbers last night, Zener.

Looks like the beans get a day to do something for themselves. :roll: At least you know he can find the lagoon on this dose.

I noticed yesterday that the Jill's name under the Sticky's notes had changed to Alex(GA). :sad: Then I checked out her SS. Two kitties in such a short time. Jill was one of those who gave us support when we were "forever" going up in dose and she chased off some of the nasty posters. She's like a rock to me.

I hope Zener comes back down from the bounce soon. I hope you get to do something relaxing during the pokey break.

I don't know Jill, but it is sad to hear about her losing her sweet kitty. Sending prayers to her.

I had not heard that Alex has crossed to the Bridge. How sad for Jill, they were so close. She was such a great supporter of me and Mannie when we first started this sugar dance over 6 years ago. So caring, and so helpful. Fly free Alex.

Looks like Zener has given you the day off. What a spectacular night last nght! WTG Z-Man! :mrgreen:

I guess Zener needed to rest up from last night. Cinco did, too, but he's been doing so on the yellow floor. Maybe they can both visit blue tomorrow? Paws crossed!

Jill has contributed so much to this forum. I think we all owe her a great deal whether we've "met" her or not. I join you in sending my deepest sympathy and prayers to her for Alex's crossing.
