Thanks! My Dad had a triple bypass surgery yesterday but it all went great! He’s awake and will be out of ICU by tonight, hopefully! He’s got a long recovery ride ahead, but the hard part is over.
He is diabetic and they were testing his BG often and using different insulins then he usually takes to keep him managed. At one point, a diabetic consultant came in and gave him Lantus. I joked about it being the same as my cat and she previously had a diabetic cat.

And, I’m back home! Will likely go down to visit/help in the next couple of weeks and thinking about driving the cats (about 300 miles) with us and boarding there. It will likely be cheaper then NYC and we’ll be close by if needed.
