? 9/14 Sister AMBG 97 - Resume Insulin or ?

I don’t see much of a difference between the drop or ns. I would give the food trial a few more days.
O.K. Thanks.
I was hoping to see lower greens like she was hitting with the 1 drop.
(She dipped her paws into the 70's Sept 8-9 which was encouraging.)

It is slightly high, my cat seems to be doing roughly the same. Have you tried a snack 3 hours before tests? That would give you those 80's like you see a few hours after eating. :)

They're also within a normal BG range, which is 80-120, even if it's on the high end.

Yes, I am doing the +9 snacks. Not influencing numbers much.
I tried the 4:00 am snack a while back at Marje's suggestion and did not see results in the AMPS that time either.
The LC/NC dry food is killing us here.

I do believe it helps to get more water for digestion, so yeah the low moisture dry probably slows the process some.

Sister gets plenty of water. Has her own fountain. Enjoys it.
She decided she does not like me floating her dry kibbles in a dab of water so I stopped that.
Dexter's SS is looking fantastic. How low does he have to go to be considered in remission?

I have a fountain set up as well for both my cats, they enjoy it as well and tend to lick where the pump pushes water from instead of the water in the bowl itself lol.

Dexter is currently on an OTJ trial, and having it mostly be green for 14 days consecutively without insulin is considered in remission.

I tried using warm water to make it easier for my cat to chew and he absolutely won't touch the food if I do. I've tried multiple times.

They're both super picky eaters lol. That's why I'm surprised and happy both love the Dr. Elsey's.

I am so encouraged that Dexter is in remission while eating Dr. Elsey's. Sister eats that along with Epigen 90.
And just bit ago, she thoroughly licked some fresh chicken breast, then allowed another cat to finish it off. ;)
Cuz she is saving her appy for the good stuff.

Yeah, me too. Here's hoping he stays in greens for the 14 days to qualify!

Best of luck bringing the numbers ever so slightly lower. :)
