Good day everyone!
We woke up to a lovely 131 this AM. I like to see her under 150 in the AM so it met my goal for her. I really do appreciate that Morgaine is keeping steady in the lower blues and high greens. I hope all the lovely furbabies here are making good progress and making their beans smile. Mine is a constant source of love and sweetness.
I was able to get a nice deal on a new meter with 50 strips, a One Touch Ultra Mini on e-bay. I am going to see how much of a variance I get using that for a while. Still not sure the Freestyle is as accurate. I have done a few tests on myself and it is usually somewhat lower, making a difference on the higher and lower extremes, especially the lower ones. It seems a 60 would be more like an 80-90 on the meters I have compared. So, I decided to test out the meter I would really like to use and see if the variance is enough for me to switch. Sharing my Freestyle strips with Morgaine makes my costs negligible since my insurance is very generous with my test strips. I will report back when I finish my comparisons.
