LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Lola and Bug's new leaf continues!! Once again, on a Caturday, there has been no more sleeping in! So many Caturday's in a row!!! :shock: Paw Prints Pizza is open and ready for bushiness! They are running a Caturday Catmint special today - lots of nip in those pies! They have even used their signature nip cheese.
Best order early! I thinks they are trying to perfect their pies. After so many y OTJ parties and moon parties I thinks they got it! SWEET, huh! so. well. anyways. Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with peppermint chips and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride.
I hope everyone had a great Furday. Mine was so busy and so crazy, but we all had a great time. We spent the morning at the Sammamish River and the afternoon at the pool so Nicholas could go swim. My DD worked a half day on FR so she was able to come and watch William while Nicholas swam. That was a big help! Our weather wasn't the best... We were due, per the weather guys, a warm and sunny day,. What we got was cool cloudy and very foggy! :shock: :roll: :roll: oh well... we adjusted our plans, and off we went! here is what I wrote in last night's post: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. I don't think we broke 70 here today, maybe 65 tops. The fog and the clouds never did clear. So much for that 85 degree day we were supposed to get. shesshhh! I am so glad I elected not to make the morning a beach morning with the boys. The sun never did show, It would have been foggy and misty on the shore, so the Sammamish River, inland, was a better option. Instincts rule! :lol: Today was a decent day with both boys, I was able to get things a little more set with hauling them both here there and everywhere, a bit more organized than I was last week. A relief! The River park at Bothell worked well. Little guy remembered, that was nice, as it's been a while since we have been there. Off he went to his familiar haunts, played in the river, fed and chased the ducks, then played on the play equipment they have there. The littlest guy slept through most of that. haha. The swim/pool time went OK today. We didn't have access to the big pool, as it is closed during the afternoons, reopens in the evenings. There was no one in it this afternoon.... . it is painful to see a pool sit idle when there are those that would love to be in it. I wonder if comes down to guarding issues, and they just don't cover that one in the afternoon. anyways... we did the lazy river they have next to his normal beach play area, and the small circle pools attached to that. it worked ok. Nicholas loved the lazy river! we will have that for times when we can't go in the mornings. He was funny - kept telling his mom he as swimming in the river. There is a nice current they have in some spots :shock: , that gave grammie a workout too! - shessh! so it went today. A successful day. " Picassa links: Sammamish River, and Swimming!
NORMALCY IN MUSKTEERVILLE! It was such a quiet day here yesterday for the kitties... or maybe it just seems that way since I was gone for almost all of it. :shock: :lol: I came home to the welcoming committee - all assumed their places. Elsa supervised, Bug watched from the top of the stairs, and Lola rolled back and forth as she always does. After their greeting they all disappeared, until the clang of dinner dishes and cat fuds cans brought them running. After dinner they all disappeared again! Sheshhh! What s up with that? I suspect our cooling weather has activated their snuggle in the beds mode... I found Elsa curled up next to the nanners. Bug was napping on Mannie's old bed. Lola was sawing snoozin' logs on one of the office chairs. and so there remained... until late in the evening when the nighttime marathon session started, as they do every night. Elsa just shrugs it off, mutters "KIDS!" , rolls her eyes and goes to bed. Smart girl. Lola and Bug just run and run and topple together and run some more. Wish I had half their energy! :lol: :lol:
Have a great day everyone. it is a for sure catch up day here: shopping, errands, laundry and some cleaning. and recovery time.I thoroughly enjoyed having both boys for three days, but need some regroup time. :lol: :lol: So that shall be today. I will more than likely head on down to the shore and the woods later today for a walk.
