JL is eating better today. I wonder if the reduction in food could be related to the lower numbers. Gave him the dose increase last night and this morning.

At +6 he test 92, so I gave him (maybe a mistake) about 1.5 - 2 teaspoons of FF Gravy Lovers to try and trick his liver into non-freak out mode. ohmygod_smile Hope it works..

Could very well be the less food doing it's thing. Weight and the amount of food is all key to bringing the #s to reasonable levels. I've worked to finding a good weight, and the amount of food to get her there earlier this year, and I've seen results. This may be what you're witnessing, too..? JL's +6 is beautiful! In time, you'll start seeing some more progress as you go along. Keep up the excellent work!

A little nervous here. His pmps was 123. I went ahead and gave him the 1.75 and made sure he ate something. I was not the entire 2.5oz. Not sure exactly how much cause the stinker wanted me to hold a spoon while he ate off of it. That behavior while cute does not need to continue.

Does anyone have a crystal ball and has thoughts on what might happen tonight?

My crystal ball is not working right now darn it. But I strongly suggest you get a +1 and see if he's coming up for a food spike. Then you will definitely want a +2. If the +2 is the same or similar to the PMPS, he's most likely going to have a regular, active lantus curve where he comes down for nadir. If his +2 is much less than his PMPS, you should expect a very active cycle because he will already be headed down when he should not be.

Please just post your numbers in the subject line, ok? Feeding his regular food is good.

+2.5 = 116 which is not much different from pmps.

I am flabbergasted he has not bounced..... He is just full of surprises this week.

Very nice!!!! Glad that you are continuing to test...you should have two rising, non food influenced numbers before you stop testing tonight.

He seems to be holding around 76. Gave more higher carb food and headed to bed.
