Good Morning LL,
Atlas and I are doing the dance and paws are crossed we can settle down here on a dose.
Well we had a bit of excitement last night. Masked bandits attempted to break-in last night. Looks like I am going to have to call a trapper.... These guys looked like juveniles. I had seen them in the neighborhood last week and thought somebody had a late litter. The late litter is going to make them 'needy' of civvie life going into fall and winter as dens are going to already be full or well defended. Their size isn't going to be big enough to claim one for their own. That could spell real trouble for homeowners as the gang gets desperate for shelter.
Mother Nature can be very tough sometimes. Due to their late season start they most likely won't survive the winter unless they find adequate shelter.
OMG! Kitties, you should have seen it. Der was 3 of them and Gary's he just got hisself all fluffed up and was der defending the whole housholdz from dees guys. They was at the screenz doors clawing it up somethin' fierce and Gary he just pounced outs of nowherez and sets those guyz backs a few feets until our bean come to chase them off. They came backs though 3 times and the bean finally used the wasp spray with the 20fts reach to scare dem off. She den sprayed the doorwayz and saids it will keeps them from trying again for a few days. Boy dat stuff is stinkeeez! ~~Attie
PS. They've been dropping bait with rabies vaccine in it too. They are a big population that has rabies and spread canine distemper.
